Day 2-Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom, Epcot: I got out the hotel sorta late that morning. I was up at 6AM, though. There's just something about sleeping in Disney World that makes you forget about sleeping . My mom MADE me eat breakfast and spend the morning with the family, so I was out at the parks around 11. Bah. I spent an hour riding buses to make it to Downtown Disney. The bus drivers told me and this other family the wrong information, so I was stuck at the Wilderness Lodge for 30 minutes and was dragged to just about every hotel you could think of. I got a great tour of the place, though . Finally I made it to DTD and went shopping. I took a picture of all the Aladdin related characters on everything and everywhere. I have this random shot of the giant Genie statue they have on top of a building. Yes, I am that hardcore . After taking random pictures, I made it to the world's largest Disney Store. It's 10 yards short of being the size of a football field. I didn't find much Aladdin stuff...ok scratch that--all the stuff there was either something I already had or something I could break  . I did end up buying a Jasmine doll that I didn't own since it was exclusive to the parks. I went to a ton of shops, though, like the Art of Disney stores. They had sketches there for 12 dollars. Dude, I can do that in my house for free. The best part of shopping here and my blonde moment for the trip was when I went into the CHRISTMAS store to find ALADDIN stuff. I searched and searched, and boy was I annoyed I couldn't find anything. They had a ton of ornaments and Christmas things for all the other movies, though. Why couldn't I find just as much stuff for Aladdin? I know that there isn't always a bunch of merchandise out there, but I've only seen two things total; one of which was Jasmine in a Disney princess ornament set and a little $12 ornament with Al and Jas on carpet. I am in DISNEY WORLD, surely they would have MORE stuff, right? Then it hit me...they don't celebrate Christmas! Duh, Shiera  . Someone might be offended by that or something. Although, I will say I found it funny Genie was painted on the wall several times in different Christmasy situations and costumes, which I also took a picture of BTW  . But after my little realization and defeat, I hopped a bus to the Magic Kingdom. I wanted a Genie shirt and the only place to find it was in the Agrabah bazaar there. I went back to Adventureland part of the park and went back to the Agrabah bazaar. The people recognized me from yesterday--day 2 and I'm making friends already . I took about 20 minutes trying to decide what T-shirt I wanted. The one that I did was going to be a bit snug, so I had to get a different one. The one I got has Genie's face on it and the whole shirt is the color of him. Not exactly the one I wanted, but it'll do. It's my special ocassions shirt and I've only worn it three times ever since this trip  When I stepped outside the Adventureland area, I saw a bunch of people lined up. I didn't know it, but I was there in time for the parade. I just stepped outside when it started. Go me! I took some more pictures of characters like Goofy (OMFG he walked up TO my camera and shook my hand--COOL), Aurora/Philip and Ariel/Eric (I thought their float was cool and shiney!), the villains float (Which I have to say, I yelled out "THE IDEA HAS MERIT!" to Jafar and he gave me this hand gesture of approval while he sneered at everyone else who was booing him ) and of course Aladdin and Genie (Well, Prince Ali and Genie float. He pointed to me and said, "I never had a friend like you!" *insert fangirl squee here  *). After the parade, I left the MK and went to go see what the family was doing. When I got on the bus, I found my dad and sister there. Talk about coincidences . They were taking pictures with Mickey, Aurora and others at the MK and got on the bus a few minutes before me because they wanted out of the heat. We headed to the hotel and I dropped my stuff off that I bought earlier. My sister tagged along with me as I went to Epcot since the rest of the family was going to go to the pool and I don't do pools/large bodies of water. They scare me. My sister wanted to go to the parks so more, but since the parents didn't want to go she was stuck with me. It took about 15 minutes for us to get there by monorail and we had to go down the longest flight of stairs ever to get back on the ground . I took a picture of the big ball and kept going. I saw another store that sold merchandise and checked to see if they had any new Aladdin stuff. They didn't, but I got a porcelain Jasmine trinket holder. It looks like a mini statue of her, but it's actually a jewelry holder. Very cute. I saw another Art of Disney store and stopped in there because I am totally an art whore . When I went into the store and turned the corner, I saw an Aladdin poster signed by Linda, Scott, Brad-err Caleb, and Lea hanging on the wall. I got on the floor to bow to it since that's about as close as I am going to get to any of them  . The lady at the front desk thought it was funny, but my sister walked away saying "I so don't know you". Too bad I didn't have $295 bucks on me *sigh*. Anyway, I didn't go into the future part of the park. I went to all the world showcase pavilions. Morocco was my favorite, naturally. It honestly feels like you're walking through Agrabah. There's merchants trying to sell you things, the shops are set up in a similar fashion...it's just awesomeness. They had actual Harem outfits, fezes (that I learned the history and tradition behind the tassel) and belly dancing accessories. I heard Al and Jas was over there, but I never found them . And I just have to say it is so weird having an American pavillion there. I knew not everyone there was from the US, but I'm walking by the pavillion going "Is this what we are known for? Band music and pie?" My sister was dying to go to "The Living Seas." She's a big under water/whale/fish type person. There wasn't much there since it was under major construction for the newly added Finding Nemo stuff , but there was some type of museum where you walk through and read about different sea type things. Afterwards, you go into a theater and watch a discovery channel type documentary on how the seas were made. After the movie, you go on the "sea simulator" and go "under water" to explore the sea. The "sea" was a shop and two tanks with animals like fish and manatees. Yeeeeah, definitely go there when there's actually something THERE . The place was pretty much deserted and was only good for air conditioning. By this time, it was about 8PM and since I have a diabetic with me and no one wants to see what it looks like when she has low blood sugar, I took her home where I was once again forced to stay inside. Note to self: go back to Disney WITHOUT parents :x
I'm not sure if Disneyland (california) has a villain store, but Disney World (florida) does.
And the Aladdin characters are in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom and Morrocco in Epcot

I have only been to Disney World twice. The one in Florida. Is this place you are referring me to in Florida or California? I want to go to the California one because I once saw an ad for it that showed the Aladdin musical thingy [with a very cool-looking Jafar] but so far I've only visited the one in Florida. I was annoyed at my most recent trip to the magic kingdom, couldn't find any Aladdin characters, not even Aladdin, especially not Jafar, but I got a Disney villain shirt for ten bucks at a Disney outlet and it had all of them on it even Yzma!! [This is a little strange but Yzma is my favorite female Disney villain, she's not as powerful or frightening as say Maleficent but she's hilarious.] I tell people I have a Disney villain collection but knowing me it's really a Jafar collection.

Oh, you want to go in Villains in Vogue, at least. Disgusting lack of Jafar *merchandise* (though you can by artist sketches of him and other villains there for around $30/$35, and that's a nice souvenir!), BUT! There's a big candy tree that has snake!Jafar's head on the top and there are images of a few villains' images around top of the walls, and Jafar is one. I took a few pictures. Not much stuff, but he's in the decor twice, so that's something, right?
There were a few Jafar pins when I was there on the CP; one was him holding the lamp and there were flames flowing from behind him that formed his Cobra self, 2 different ones that featured male villains and remembered him, and one with Aladdin and Jasmine running, and behind them is a shadow shaped like Jafar. Don't know which are still available; they changed the pin selection sort of randomly at times. But I always keep an eye out at a Disney park.

Hi, this is DP saying that both of the above posts were me; it's not registering me saying "KEEP ME LOGGED IN." But this computer has issues.
There is a whole store dedicated to the villains and I *had* to check it out. A whole Disney villains store!!...and not one item for Jafar. How messed up is that? He had a picture on the wall, but that was it. No merchandise. Me=sad panda. My Jafar collection of memorbilia is soo tiny and now I see why. But that's totally ok cause I got that Jafar beanie at Walmart earlier so I did get *something*. Take that Villain store!
.
I know, I went to Disney last October, and Jafar stuff was nowhere to be found. Except for one little pin in the Agrabah Bazaar in the Magic Kingdom. Admittedly I did not go to the villain store but you seem to indicate I can skip it.

I think I figured out why they make Aladdin wear a shirt.
So rabid fangirls can't run out and scream "THAT'S NOT THE REAL ALADDIN! THE REAL ALADDIN DOESN'T HAVE NIPPLES!"
Yep, that's the answer. Gotta be.
That's...probably a valid argument. Why IS it that Al has no nipples, but Quasimodo, Hercules (right?), and Tarzan do?
Not that I'm complaining; Al is fine JUST the way he is.

I never actually WILL test this...that'd be a surefire way to get thrown out of the parks, and I think that might kill me. But a girl can dream, right?
....don't get me started
I know I do

Here's another one of Al and Jas in winter cloaks...
I'm the one on the far left...Jasmine gave me special permission to be next to Aladdin. (She was such an awesome Jasmine...)
And yes, Aladdin has a little bit of a funny look on his face...my camera wasn't taking and he was about to ask me if I knew any secrets to get it to work, and CLICK. We did get another one where he looks less stunned, but I don't have it saved on my computer yet.
