Problem is the dude never came back. And he gave up on finding them so easily.
Just my two cents: My theory is that he may not have wanted to find them again. He was full of doubt and feelings of worthlessness when he was with his wife and Aladdin. He thought that he could never provide them with enough, unless he had some perfect treasure. He finds his way to the Forty Thieves, and finds a place where he can be more free. He's able to travel with a group that, for the most part, supports his goals and his quest (depending on when you think he became king, really). He obviously is having fun in KOT, especially during the WTTFT segment. He may have went back to Agrabah because he felt obligated. He gets there, looks for them where he used to stay, perhaps, doesn't find them, and leaves, fufilling his obligation while at the same time enjoying his life guilt-free. The loss he feels when describing the incident in KoT could have come on later, as a realization he hit over time, or maybe was partially driven by his frustration over failing to get the treasure he wanted, at that point, for himself. Or, if you're more cynical, it could be that he played it up in order to win sympathy from Aladdin, so Aladdin wouldn't treat him as a villain.
Another good theory. I don't think Cassim was playing up anything, though. I think he really did have regrets. I'm going to throw out another thing to think about. What about Saluk? I mean, he hated Cassim. Do you think, perhaps, Saluk used to run things before Cassim came into the picture? Or do you have another theory? If you listen to "Are You In Or Out?" it kind of sounds like Saluk did used to be in charge at one time. But, his hatred toward Cassim could be stemmed from something else. Let's hear your ideas! ~Hikaru
Hm, one of his pathetic whinings that he ended up doing is in "The Prophet Motive."

Thanks for stopping it Shiera, since Iago was really getting on my nerves.
See, why did you have to say that last part, hon? That's going to start another fight again.
Please
keep the little comments like that to yourself.
I'm just being brutally honest *shrugs*
And if another argument starts, I'll just ignore it plain and simple. It's not worth mine or anyone's attention.
Anyways, about the favorite Abis Maal episode, it would be uh....... none, I guess.....

What's everybody's favourite Abis Mal episode? I think he's an idiot, but a comical one. So, where do y'all like him best? Or, what is your favourite "folly" of his?
~Hikaru
What a radical subject change
He cracks me up in "Some Enchanted Genie"
. I love it when stuff creeps him out and he does that whimper

Usually, I try to ignore internet drama, but for reasons I don't wish to discuss here, I'm going to say a couple of things:
1) What is this even accomplishing?
2) What's the point of proving that you're right? Seriously, it's just going to make people mad, why bother? You can't change people.
3) Do you really think everybody wants to read this on the boards? There are things worth fighting for, and things that aren't. Pick your battles.
I guess that's it. I'm not taking sides, nor am I targeting this little flame war in general. Maybe it would be wise for the parties involved to take five. Oh, and it would also be a good idea to read over your posts before submitting them.
~Hikaru
That's exactly what I've been thinking too. I'm not lying or sucking up, but it's the truth Hikaru. Fights are so pointless here, and good news is, that it's over.

*waves* Hi
The insults and the name calling do need to stop. It's not acceptable. You
don't
have to give a rat's ass about who you insult or not, and you
can
do whatever the hell I please......just not here on this board. There are rules to be followed.
This is the end of this conversation.
Thanks.
Gladly I'll stop, because I don't want to get involved in useless arguments and if I continue to be an lowly ass, then I'll be degrading myself infront of everyone which is NOT a good thing. Thanks for stopping it Shiera, since Iago was really getting on my nerves.
