You're right that they're Cinderella's age....they say so in the narration (...'choosing for his new bride, a widow...with two daughters just Cinderella's age'). Now, there's the 'how 'just' is JUST?' question and the fact that we don't know if the stepsisters are twins or not, but whatever; yes they are very, very close in age to Cinderella. I just think of them as a little older; maybe around the same frame that I see Belle (somewhere in that 18-21 vicinity).
You are probably right that Lady Tremaine was referring to last chance at the Prince, not necessarily the last chance at marriage. Though it doesn't seem like they have much male interaction, so maybe you could see it both ways at once.

The creators of BatB never gave Belle a specific age, but there was a conscious decision to make her older than Ariel; I think the frame of reference they worked with was in the 18-21 range, but I'd have to double check my notes from the Secrets of the Modern Disney Princesses class I took at WDW. She had to be in order for her to be convincingly a bit world-weary, and whoever said that the fact that she was around 20 years old and not yet married (was that you, Hikaru?), that was something else they considered, too. It's another reason people thinks she's odd and why it's crazy for her to reject Gaston. He could be her 'last chance.'
The gift shop "In Character" outside Voyage of the Little Mermaid at MGM has a 'model sheet' of Snow White (they have them for many of the Princesses, and yes, they did remember Jasmine this time!), but I don't know if those are ones created for theming only or if they are based on actual model sheets. Anyway, Snow White's sheet says something like "Snow White has idealized proportions for a 16 year old girl, but is not curvy." I think she is definitely young, but I think there is an extent to which she looks younger than she actually is. (This is also an interesting reflection on what ideals were in the 1930s as compared to now...) I wouldn't place her younger than 14, but not older than 16. She has a lot of inner strength (being able to flee when she learns of the Queen's plan, not knowing where she'd go) and a very definite motherly approach in dealing with the animals and the dwarfs.
I agree with AG that Cinderella seems older to me. Actually, so do her stepsisters. (I mean, they're immature, but they seem like they are children stuck in adults' bodies.) I wouldn't be surprised at all if Lady Tremaine was hoping Cinderella would be an 'old maid,' or at least not be allowed to be around men until Anastasia and Drizella had found husbands. She wanted to 'forward the interests of her own two awkward daughters,' and they must be higher up in age for the time, since she's quick to remind them it's their last chance when they find out the Duke is coming.

Belle is the only one that really confuses me. i feel the beast being in his 20s wouldn't make Belle's age, if under 16, unbelievable. (infact i like stories like that, but i'm just wierd YOU SHOULD ALL READ 'LOLiTA' NOW!!!)
Although i would like to believe she's an extremly mature tall developed girl about 16 or 17, i don't think that the adult/teen romance was quuuuiiiite what the writers were going for.
i think Cinderella is for sure under/or 16 and i also think she is the second youngest. i'd actully say Jasmine is the youngest.
Those are just my opinions

Belle-20/21ish because of Beast turning 21 himself
Snow White-I've seen 13-16 for her, but I can't really place her myself.
Cinderella-About 20-21, maybe. She just seems a lot older.

How old do y'all think the Disney Princesses are? We know that Aurora and Ariel are sixteen, and if you do your research, you'll find that Jasmine was supposed to be sixteen. But ages weren't mentioned for Belle, Snow White or Cinderella.
I think Snow White is the youngest, though I couldn't say how much younger. She did ride off with the Prince, but in a different time and culture, thirteen-year-olds did get married.
I'd put Belle at about nineteen. Maybe it's the book smarts that make her look and seem so mature, but I just don't think she's as young as the rest of the Princesses. Maybe she's twenty, but at any rate, she has this "young enough to still be living at home, but not a teenie-bopper" Aura. And if she were much older than twenty, I think the townspeople might hold that against her, too. (That she's twenty-something and not yet married.)
Cinderella's the only one I'm not quite sure on. Maybe she's sixteen, too. It really is hard to tell, since, had she not gone off with the Prince, I think she'd still be living with her step-mother and step-sisters. (Or, the evil harpies would just throw her out on her ear, but then they'd be out a servant.)
What are your thoughts?

Aha! That's why Rasoul was so willing to drown him! He was there the whole time watching Aladdin and Jasmine. They just cut him out of all the scenes because he was ruining the romantic mood.

Haha, perfect, because I THINK the kiss lasts for 4 seconds.
Guess Rasoul still wasn't convinced though. "OK, that's it, we're drowning this boy"

Any future Disney Princesses, should they come to be, should have the same 'role' that Snow White, Cinderella, and Ariel did...starring in movies that prove that the animated movie is an art form that, when well done, the public will love and keeping Disney animation alive!
Snow White was the groundbreaking first animated feature...Cinderella saved the medium when people thought it was dead after WWII...and TLM proved that Disney could come up with amazing films after Walt when people thought they were done after a 20+ year slump of disappointments. (Yes, yes, there were some great movies in there, but nothing doing well enough to keep them going on much longer...Eisner wanted to get rid of animation way back when and Roy E. made them pour everything into this Mermaid project, and look what that started.

They should have a Disney heroine who is visually impaired. Ok, I know what you all might be thinking, but this would be more than the stereotype. Most people, when they see someone who's classified as legally blind have all these assumptions. I mean, look at most sight-impaired people on TV. I realize there's people that really are that blind, but not everybody who's legally blind uses a cane and wears dark glasses all the time. Not everybody who's legally blind sees just shadows. I think they ought to get someone who is classified as legally blind, but still has usable sight, and observe them for a week.
Well, I'm working a story where one of the heroes is blind. Now if I can get that done, I try to sneak it into Disney and try to sway one of the directors into making it into a movie.
