Ah, I like it when guys do females voices effectively(in a not obivious way as opposed to when the guys from Monty Python do women). Another example: Bob Patterson as Roz in "Monsters' Inc."

Don Messick, he was Scooby up until his death in the mid 90s.

Yeeeep! I think the story goes he was going in for Scooby, but they gave that away. Then Casey Kasem wanted the part of Fred and Frank the part of Shaggy, but they ended up getting the opposite

Fred was the first voice over he ever did, right?

I think I can attribute Scooby-doo to my paranoia that the helpful ones are always the villain

And yes, Frank Welker is awesome. I still have a hard time imagining that he was Fred in Scooby Doo, though.

I love the voice of the actress who did Merriweather! Her voice was very versatile - from the fusty Merriweather to the demure Lady.

I think Frank Welker gets my vote. I can't think of a movie he
didn't
do something for
. And Jim Cummings, too. That dude is Winnie the Pooh AND Tigger.

My favourite voice actor of all times is Antti Pääkkönen. He has done tons of Disney roles, including (but not limited to) Abis Mal, Mechanikles, Hakim, the Peddler, Prince Achmed (I think), Timon, Banzai, Clopin, Doppler, Woody, Mickey Mouse, Tweedle Dee and so on. His voice makes me go weak in the knees.
Hmm, both of the Finnish people I talk to on a regular basis have now said that; maybe you're on to something?

1: Robin Williams as Genie. Dan Castellaneta was okay, but overall his lines were just too corny.
2: John Rhys-Davies as Cassim.
3: Robby Benson as Beast. (Kind of a no-brainer, I s'pose.) Especially since, in his early days, he talked like a complete nerd. (I saw a clip of his audition for Luke Skywalker. It was painful.)
4: Jerry Orbach as Lumiere/Saluk. Either role was AWESOME; that man has the most incredible voice.
5: Ming-Na Wen as Mulan. Her voice was so different from the traditional Disney female; I actually found that inspiring.
Honorary Mention: Frank Welker as ANYBODY. Did you know they even get him to make horsey sounds?
Honorary Mention: Gilbert Gottfried as Iago. "How in the he-er, RAAWT!"
Honorary Mention: Meriweather from Sleeping Beauty.
(I haven't seen TLM in years, so I'm not really qualified to comment on them.)

Well, I don't feel like repeating what's already been said in this thread, so I'll bring up something that hasn't yet.
I really think nobody does Genie like Robin Williams. To me, the Genie is Robbin Williams, and Robbin Williams is the Genie. That Homer Simpson guy (What's his name again?) didn't do a terrible job, but he isn't truly Genie.
You know, it's funny--the older I get that's the more I kinda forget he was Genie. He's distanced himself so much as Genie/the role of Genie and I've heard Dan sooooo much more than Robin, that the only time I really remember is when I watch the original or KOT. I can watch everything without a problem, but the line of "the original Genie" is blurred for me now.

Have they ever rape... I mean, re-dubbed any of the English versions?
Not that I am aware of. Hell would be raised
I heard of something similar happening to the German version of TLM, too. What is it with the re-dubbings of movies?
