Amazing. I must've just had a precognitive experience, because I
knew
you were going to say you didn't see any resemblance.
David Hewlett is a remarkably difficult man to recreate - a few reasons being that his cranial area is bigger than the game allows for and his mouth isn't straight.
Anyway, I put him together after studying hundreds of photos of David Hewlett in various roles throughout the years. A lot of younger photos factored into the final result, as I figured I needed to account and correct for any weight changes that occured over the years, as any weight changes in the face are part of the genetic facial structure itself.
Maybe it would be more accurate to say I was trying to make
this guy.
Anyway, I think Michael Whitmore is pretty convinced he's some
incarnation of McKay.
Aw, and just lookit that
cute little nose.

Reminds me a little of Will Turner.

ARGH! It turned out I kept using the face from the wrong file! I have it sorted out now. Maybe poor Michael can stay out from under the knife now for awhile. I may give him a trip to the salon for a new hairstyle, though - I think this one looks rather cute.

At the rate I'm going, Michael Whitmore, AKA 'the Sim who kind of looks like David Hewlett' will be the most operated-upon Sim in my game's history of Sims.
Last time it was because he didn't look right.
This time it's because his mouth wouldn't animate properly. (I have no idea how I managed that.)
I sure hope he turns out right this time... because changing a face on a non-playable character this many times is just... ridiculous.
