My local paper is one of those offering the Disney graphic novels, Aladdin came out this week. It's the same as the graphic novel from years ago, just with a new cover. I still had to buy a copy though

That's exactly what I was wondering because one of the comic books I own also has 48 pages like this graphic novel. I thought maybe they re-did it when I saw the cover of the book those kids are holding and got excited

My Google alerts were helpful today.

They show a couple pages of the Finding Nemo one. Looks like a few different newspapers in the UK are doing this promotion. I don't see where you can order one if you don't get the newspaper, but if they're giving out so many I'm sure they'll show up on ebay. I would like to find out if it's the same as the old Aladdin adaptation comic first, though.

Does anyone have any more information on this? Particularly if it's re-drawn in a comic book style? This is all I've found on the book series:
