Yes, their plot summary is accurate but poorly written.
Ex. They called Abu "Apu" once, they misspell "Aladdin" a handful of times, they called Jafar the Sultan once, "Lago" should actually be "Iago", and they say
Quote:
Tell Jasmine he is not Ali, the man she fell in love with, or tell he that he is Aladin and risk losing her.
...which is redundant lol. It should be more like "Tell Jasmine the truth and risk losing her or use his third wish (which he promised would be to set the Genie free) to seal his princelihood."
It also doesn't mention that Genie leaves to see the world in the end - not that that really matters, but they certainly had a lot of other details in there that it's funny they left that out.
But, I don't believe the movie is racist at all. I myself am half Middle-Eastern. My dad's family are all from the Middle East, most of them actually speaking Arabic, and it was his parents that actually bought me this movie when I was 2 or 3 years old and watched it with me nearly every time I visited.
