I agree, I can totally see him as the Jack Sparrow type now that he's "free" of the 40 thieves and his quest for the Hand of Midas. After King of Thieves I thought Aladdin and Jasmine's story was complete really, but I'd have loved a sequel/series that focused on Cassim and Iago's treasure hunting adventures.
I agree with what everyone's said--I don't think he'd ever really settle down, I think he'd be more a drifter/treasure hunter like Jack. A Cassim and Iago series would have been so awesome--I love all of Iago's one-liners XD.

I don't think he'd be a do-gooder now, but I don't think he'd be as bad as he was before. He's still a wanted man and doesn't want to fall into the law's hands, but I can't see him giving up the lure of chasing after treasures and riches either.
I'm making him sound like he's Jack Sparrow

Post subject: What do you think Cassim does in the future?
Do you think he went back to a life of crime? I can't imagine him being a do-gooder, but if he were still a criminal, I don't think Aladdin would ever want to willingly meet up with him. It would be kind of sad if Aladdin never sees his dad again. I would think if Aladdin and Jasmine ever had kids, Aladdin would get all insecure again and would want to talk to his dad. I think I might write a fanfic about this
