I thought they were going into the father theme for the third game myself since that and POTC would be headed that way, but I don't know what they're doing
Of all the songs to change, you shouldn't do that with AWNW wtf |

It is. Unless they plan on doing KOT in number 3 I'm done . *wants to hear John Rhys-Davies voice Cassim again XD*
It's basically just the same thing as the SNES with different music on the AWNW and Friend Like Me levels. That alone discouraged me from buying it. There's no way I'm flying on a magic carpet with different music, it just ain't right |

I gave up with KH. The storyline is so all over the place and retconned, I don't know what's going on anymore, and they want you to buy a billion consoles for one inbetween game. It's ridiculous.
Aw, did they? I had the really primative gameboy, so I didn't get to play that one. |

Yeah, gaming's changed so much...though I do like a nice sidescroller once in a while--but KH Coded was just bad. I only got it for the Agrabah level and even that's not as fun as I thought it would be
I know, it's crazy! The best part of that level was Friend Like Me in the background--nostalgia rush right there XD. I heard in the CAPCOM Game Boy port of this SNES version they removed the tracks from the movie though. |

I think it's harder to go back and play side scrollers after you've been playing with controls like on the PS2 or Wii. You think you can jump differently when you can't.
The balloons! That's the one! There's one trippy round that's not as bad as the other, but I remember those balloons are a pain. There's no game genie for that |

I hate it when they make you go back! I mean for me the challenge is the stepping stones because they sink so fast :/ It's just so frustrating sometimes
Both of them? XD I've only gotten to the SEGA one and it was really hard with the balloons and stuff. I wish that you couldn't die on that one because seriously, genies can't kill That's what made me miffed about KH Agrabah too ( I really wanted that snake fight XD ). |

"This plan is fail proof!"
Right? There's only so many continues and extra lives here, so if you use them all up, you have to go aaaaaaall the way back to the beginning.
Which version has that trippy Genie level in it? I was so mad at him for making that |

Of course XD. I don't even understand that level, what was he thinking? "Hmm, I'm gonna break into the palace to see the princess with a Genie's lamp, a sword, a Carpet, and some apples". Here's where the prince wish comes in handy XD.
I hate the sinking stones That's where it started getting tricky because at one point I either died from the lava splashing up or the pointy rocks above. I don't understand how a 5-year-old could have beaten this
At least at one point it just lets you go to the next level even if you die XD. That helped me immensely. |

And of course you've used up all of your apples on the way there because that palace is filled with everything that wants you dead in the world ever
The ones hanging on ledges above you or the extra lives right below you that may or may not have something underneath them to catch you on aren't fair either. Even if you do get the extra life or whatever, you have to hop across to land before the thing sinks
My favorite part about the escape is Genie's hands telling you which direction to go. They're helpful until he goes "???" and you have to guess while hoping there's not something for you to run in to on the direction you picked. Thaaaaanks, Genie |

I know! I remember when I fought Razoul for the first time and just failed because I didn't know what to do XD. And the Jafar battle--the first time I charged him with the sword and got incinerated until I realized I had to use the apples, because of course those are the weakness of the most powerful sorcerer in the world
I wanted to get all the gems so I just ended up falling in the lava until I finally gave up and decided to find a way out XD. And then when I did clear the stage I totally screwed up on the Carpet level. The lava just kept splashing me Now I wanna go finish this XD |

omg the apples. If you didn't run out, it wouldn't be so bad, but no. Naturally you're gonna throw a billion just to make sure you get rid of whatever it is you're aiming at, so of course you've used up all you had and you're screwed until you find some more
The Cave of Wonders isn't even fair. They put Genie heads at the end of the tunnel and gems in the middle of it knowing you can't get them without dying or getting hurt |

That's how I got to Jafar, the Game Genie codes XD. And most of the time I used invincibility ( and definitely unlimited apples ), though I think I might have beat him once without invincibility, but I totally got lucky.
The cave was just...impossible for me XD. KH makes it seem waaay too easy. |

They really don't make them like they use to. Those games were freaking hard, man. I only beat Jafar with an invincibility code |

I have the original SNES version and the SEGA Genesis game. I like the SNES better even though I never finished XD. Cave of Wonders=Cave of Sudden Death. |

Didn't realize it was ported to the PC. I know there's a GBA port which I have. It's my 5th favorite Capcom game on the system, not just because it's based on the movie this site and forum is for. And I really like Setsuo Yamamoto, Yuko Takehara and Yuki Iwai's 16-bit rendition of "A Whole New World" played during the bonus stage before the last level. |
