Agrabah stays getting destroyed  We spend more time rebuilding it in the canon than we do exploring it. But two questions - are they voiced by their original voice actors and do the sparkles follow Aladdin and Jasmine wherever they go?
And funnily this isn't the real Agrabah, just what the characters made up to escape the Forgetting lmao. YEP, it's Linda and Scott for sure and yes, all characters get that sparkling effect, a bit of showcasing of this world being made of dream (and dreamlight being the source magic). One thing I should note that to unlock their realm, you will need 15k dreamlight. You get that by completing ingame tasks and just simply progressing in the story really. I can help if you guys want.
Okay, so we do get a carpet glider, just not Carpet. I'm actually more than okay with that, though still hoping for Abu to become a pet later on.

Took them a while, but they finally showed us our first teaser for the next week's update. Pleasantly surprised that we get Carpet too as a permament companion as I thought he would be a glider instead.
Not gonna lie I'm happy that Aladdin gets a gem stall, as I actually wanted to make him my new main mining friend (I need to let Scrooge get his rest).
Their house is... mixed on it. Not bad, but I'm not sure yet how I would place it in my Glittering Dunes. I will figure it out.
Models also look fine, though at 1 part in the vid Aladdin's eyes looked quite small, but didn't see any issues later.
Also kinda like the realm so far, though surprised to see the palace too, given that's already in the Glittering Dunes.
I really like some of their friendship level items so far!

Yes, please!
Also, are these DLCs or updates to the game?

So it's pretty much confirmed that the Aladdin update for Dreamlight Valley will come on 26th. Bit sad it's not today, but alas.
They should start posting teasers this week and full reveal next week, so if you guys want, I can post those here.

Okay, gotta need to boot up Smite 2 for him. He does look fun to play from the gameplays I have seen so far, and hopefully the game is better optimized now that it's going open beta next week.
Can1t deny been kinda eating good regarding stuff I like. From October to end of year I had Bleach TYBW 3 to enjoy, now I get Smite's version of Aladdin, and if my claculation is correct, I get Aladdin and Jasmine just 2 days before Valentine's day. Really need to finish their royal garden.

and I really need them to stop with the propaganda that there's water around Agrabah when there absolutely is not
Last time I checked only in "Power to the Parrot" where Agrabah had a river and well... didn't turn out too well.
Nice to see the VAs still getting along so well and just being in touch overall.
Maybe they just try to incorporate the live-action version a bit, since that Agrabah was more like a port-city, but yeah, nothing suggests that Agrabah has a river like that around it.

So after months of waiting, Smite 2 finally revealed their version of Aladdin and honestly so far I'm pretty happy with it. It doesn't try to copy the Disney version and actually incorporate the original tale a lot more.

Also when I saw that the ult is basically the enemy being sucked into the lamp for a good old 1v1 I was like "oh, so they played those movie-tie in games and saw that level in the lamp huh?"
Now to my surprise one of my Smite friends was like "wait, aladdin isn't just a stupid story made up by Disney?" (this is after him knowing me for close to a decade and knowing about me being a fan) so had to call up my kebab friend to tell him wtf the Arabian Nights are.

The kiss goodnight from aboard the Disney Treasure featuring Arabian Nights
I have never heard the barbaric line cut before (and replaced with sand sound effects no less). Like, at this point, just use one of the dozen reprises or come up with something new like everyone else does
Really don't see a point in removing these lines at all. It's about a fictional world (which let's be real, isn't the friendliest), they are not describing the real world.
Or if they are this embarrassed by the original lyrics, they could have used the 2019 version at this point. It literally removed any potential controversial stuff from it.
