I can't imagine him being a do-gooder, but if he were still a criminal, I don't think Aladdin would ever want to willingly meet up with him. It would be kind of sad if Aladdin never sees his dad again. I would think if Aladdin and Jasmine ever had kids, Aladdin would get all insecure again and would want to talk to his dad.
