Well... there's subtext in canon that I personally think they put in as a joke, and I wouldn't mind a fic like that if it was written in a similar way to that (kind of like VampireNaomi's fic), but that one they're referring to I didn't like because they got the characterization all wrong. Iago was recognizable but Abu got turned into a uke stereotype, if you can imagine that.  |

*impertinent* But Aladdin and Jasmine aren't my favorite couple. Guybrush and Elaine are my favorite couple. (Guybrush says something stupid, Elaine hits him, then he does something totally amazing and she likes him again. And people say Guybrush is incompetent! Hah!) |
