I didn't like the idea of Pixar park and that whole idea of transforming everything for that. Anything can improve within the next five years or so and new projects that are developing. |

| Does DCA need some work? Probably. As an east coaster, I've got no problem with the California theme, but I can definitely understand the argument that the majority of Disneyland's Guests are returning and many are from the area and may not have the same interest in expeiencing 'California.'
The idea of a Pixar Park, though? I love the Pixar films but really, really do not like this idea. Once again, Disney seems to lack creativity unless the new ideas involve a Pixar film or Pixar characters. Not that those films and characters aren't wonderful; they are! But...it's getting old. I love Pixar, but this sounds like an ultimate cop-out. If Disney kept the door open to keep A: AMS at DCA long-term, I think it could definitely be done. It's a great show based on one of their most successful pictures of the last 20 years, and it was very, very full when I saw it in February. If it were up to me, I'd keep it around at LEAST until the Broadway version of Aladdin opens in...however many years that wil be, assuming that project does indeed keep the greenlight. And who knows? Beauty and the Beast the musical has been running for over a decade, and that hasn't made them close the version at Disney-MGM Studios. (Though I don't think that theme park stage show is as good as A:AMS and seems a bit...goofy...compared to the B'way show. The objects and the Beast seem so ridiculous in the MGM show now, especially having seen how amazingly they were portrayed on Broadway.) (Yes, there was a dispute between Disney and Pixar over how the Pixar characters could be used, but now that Disney owns Pixar, that makes that problem a lot easier to solve.) |

| It's a great show and I love it. But how long will the Aladdin Musical Spectacular is going to last. Personally, I hope it stays for a good while because I love the overall performance and I hope that everybody will have the chance to see it. But lately I have been hearing rumors.......
Due to poor attendance in Disney's California Adventures for the first four years. Starting 2010-2015, California Adventures won't be as themed as "California" anymore and they are putting in a "Pixar" theme park. I was going through a Disney forum and it was discussed. Responding in my part in my defense that it was impossible to do. 1. It's a new park. Disneyland started it was small and everybody was aiming that it wasn't successfull when the park first opened. 2. Take all "California" theme lands down and rebuild everything back up. Insane and it's takes too much revenue is at stake. Someone's quoted that, " Who would visit a California park that is in California ? " Well I can think of possiblities, tourists, out of state tourists, foreigners, and folks who live in California that don't have enough gas money to see these tourist spots of the state. 3. Plus, wasn't there a battle between Disney and Pixar over the rights of their characters? 4.But anything can happen right? The new expansion behind Bugs Land and Winery, and the new attractions to bring business to DCA. 5. Millions of people visit Disneyland daily and seeing California Adventures across the way. Would make people wonder what it's all about and come see it. It offers a little bit more modern and adventurous for the older crowds and teens. But it saddens me  If this California into Pixar themeland is possible then AMS will be gone with it.
