I know there were condoms during the Regency Era (Jane Austen times). They were made out of animal intestine. I don't know if they were popular. Ancient Egyptians used condoms, too, but I don't know if they were popular to use or if they were effective. If you scroll down, there's a timeline here: http://www.avert.org/condoms.htm |

I don't think so... unless you count withdrawal. |

I can imagine them being young parents, because Disney has a bias for youth. They made Ariel's daughter Melody 12 when they really wanted to make her 16, because they didn't want to age Ariel too much.
They also made Jane in the Peter Pan sequel look really young after having a daughter.
However, I like to pretend most Disney sequels that have children in them don't exist (Lion King, Little Mermaid), and that it's not canon but just a weird fanfic |

I can see Sultan kind of casually bringing up the situation in a conversation, but I think they'd wait a little while. If they took that long to get married after the pressure, they'd probably do the same with kids.
Although, Aladdin and the princess in the original story had a ton of kids, so they better get crackin' |

Hi everyone! Do you think Al and Jas would have children soon after their marriage in TKOT or that they would wait some time? |
