That whole cover bothers me . But yeah it captures the series better than the movie itself.
And I get the feeling as soon as I pre-order this, they'll release some kind of triple DVD combo pack or something with the other movies. |

Ditto here. Thanks for the link, looking forward to the lithographs! (fwiw, I looked on Amazon, Walmart.com and Target.com and all offer roughly the same price for the BR pack w/o the lithograph set, i.e. no other vendor-unique freebies seem available).
(must admit though, Iago on the cover bothers me too!). |

| I doubt that was the case considering they did other sequels for other trilogies in a relatively quick fashion, however, I think they'd have more incentive to do it now since Robin was on KoT. I'm assuming that's going to be a selling point since it's the only reason we're getting news about a blu-ray as it is for the original movie. No one could watch the movie when he died because they didn't own it, so they have to do something about it now. |

| So very happy to hear the BR version is on its way!! There were runors before that one reason it took so long to come out was bc Disney was working on BRing all three Aladdin movies-- do you guys think this is still the case? I sure hope so, esp considering how long we've had to wait.... |

So glad it's finally coming out for you all! If they have any new bonus features (especially for the Broadway show) or a Robin Williams tribute I'll definitely be picking it up despite already having the UK edition.
I think that's a fan made cover so hopefully the final cover will be better. Sadly I'm not expecting the digital copy to be included with the real thing (not sure about over there but here the last digital copies were around 2010/2011 I think)
Oh, and "Discover a whole new world in a whole new way"? Pretty sure I've heard that before somewhere
Only thing missing is a 3D edition! I'd be all over that! Aladdin is the only 1 of the big 4 renaissance movies not to get a 3D conversion when (and I'm totally biased here) it's probably the one that would benefit the most from it! Friend Like Me, escaping the Cave of Wonders, A Whole New World are all practically begging for the 3D treatment after watching the 3D conversion of Beauty and the Beast the other year. |
