They're cleaned and sanitized every day because it's not just your own body chemicals you don't want to pass on to a fellow cast member, but think about all the hundreds of people they meet from all over the world a day that are getting their germs and scents all over them, too. Each shift you check out whatever you need for the role and then scan them back in at the end of the day so they can be cared for. I remember having a staring contest with the dyers one day because they are huuuuuuge |

I have no idea, but I would imagine they actually clean them regularly. It just seems like the Disney way...
Is this something that can be looked up? I guess I could try. |

Just curious and genuinely wondering, how often does Disney World actually wash the character costumes? The full head and body ones like Mickey, Donald, Pluto, etc. I just randomly wondered that today. The heat and the sweat must get intense. Does anybody know? |
