Yeah, a lot of places were reporting that this is the first time the movie has been on steelbook and just completely skipped over the steelbook release that happened in 2019. I know the pandemic threw everyone off, but it wasn't THAT long ago 
I keep waiting for a steelbook with a cover I like. I loved this one: https://us.zavvi.com/blu-ray/aladdin-mondo-35-zavvi-exclusive-limited-edition-steelbook/12056703.html But it was the 2004 DVD re-released and I didn't need that again. |

| Everyday I understand more and more why Robin Williams was furious with the marketing for this film
If it's not Jasmine that's being used all the time, it's Genie. And it's like I get Jasmine is part of the princess powerhouse and Genie is a beloved character, but would it have killed them to put Aladdin on the steelbook for his movie? |

As part of Disney's 100th Anniversary celebration, Aladdin will be re-released to a special collectible SteelBook. Pre-order link is here at Best Buy which is the only place to order it. When we get some details on what features -if any- are included, I will update this post. |
