I have a question about "Proud of Your Boy." At one point, Aladdin (Menken / Aiken) sings "That I've been one rotten kid / Some son, some pride and some joy." My question is about the "some son" part. While it makes sense, it also seems to me that "some sun" seems to be what would fit in better with "some pride and some joy." Does anyone know for sure if "some son" was in fact what was intended? _________________ I run a movie guide for Aladdin at a popular movie website, Movie Tome. Check it out here |

"Some son" is definetly the right lyric, though I can see how you would get "some sun" out of it, sun meaning brightness, happiness, etc.

"Some sun" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, and I don't understand hwo you made any sense out of ur post either. |
You know, Hourglass, I would reread your own message and then reconsider questioning how anyone else posts. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |
