Geebus, I forgot to respond.
I love the video. And the song choice. Kick arse song.
I am too working on a video (I started it right after AG, and I'm only over half the way done...phooey). Mine is, of course, KOT based. My goal is to finish it tomorrow. *Looks at clock* Today. After school. Probably.

Yeah right, unless "today" means next month. |

Yeah, but I may need some help... I have some spare time every night sometimes... and I'm trying to make a JASMINE music video to "Overprotected".
I have the scenes I want for each line, now I just have to put it to music. |
"night" could be a problem if you want me to help you by chatting, since that means "deep night" for me. But if you have concrete questions, you can post them here and I'll try to help you. _________________

Hm, you don't have to play the movie to rip it, at least not with Movie Jack (program I use). You can select a file in that program, and it rips it, but it's not likely to work directly from the DVD, since there's probably a copy guard. So I copied the movie files from DVD to my computer, and then ripped them. Note that this will take a long time. It took me 15mins to copy the files, and about 2 hours to rip it.
I guess there is an easier way of doing this, but I don't know it. Maybe someone else does? _________________

I don't know about ripping it and such, but if you close the Disney dvd window, you can open up another dvd player and then tell it to play the dvd. I do that to take screen caps for avatars. Hope this helps you. _________________

Yeah, the player doesn't have anything to do with it. Just close it out. As long as the disc is still in the drive, you are ok.
You need a DVD ripping program like movie jack or Gordian Knot. You may have to download one because I don't think regular computers come with one.
After you done ripping the video, whether it's the whole thing or just the parts you need (which is easier to work with) then you can make the video. The DVD must be ripped and changed into avi files to work. |

With Movie Jack you can't rip only certain parts of a movie, you gotta rip the whole thing (at least I think so). It will change the file into mp3, which is okay, Windows Movie Maker can work with them as well. _________________

Oh man, I wish my program could do that, too. But it suppose it can't It took me 2 hours to rip RoJ, and this is only an hour long. Imagine how long it would take me to rip the original movie! _________________
