Lol, I don't have to make that choice for a long time... I feel for you guys. My grandmother, before she past away, said she what she wanted for eacho of her grand daughters. I was supposed to be a lawyer**funny how that's what I want to be anyway**.
You wanna know something funny, my grandmother kept a journal... and we found it when she died. In there, my oldest cousin, and myself were written about quite alot. My grandmother was trying to begin an arranged marriage! How's that for choices?! _________________ MysticMeg's Stories on THE LIBRARY OF AGRABAH!!!

Here's one rant that I sent to Kerry about it - it's easier to copy and paste than to type it up again. Basically I went through all of the majors at my school and wrote down any that I didn't hate.
English - thought about - particularaly pursuing the teaching of it - just no money in it
Journalism - haven't thought about this one - must research it more
Various Education Degrees - eh - I could still do one of these, but I'm just not sure if it's my type or if an uncompetetive salary would make me happy - I'm driven by competition - plus my temper and inability to explain come in here
Business - anything could be a possibility here - tons of majors in this quality that my dad thinks I would love
Computer Science - don't really know anything about it - must research it more
Lawyer - my dad was joking the other day and said I'd make a good one, but I've been told by several different people (unprompted by me) that I'd make a good lawyer - I mentioned it to my dad the other day and he didn't seem to like the idea of his baby "lying and conniving" because he brought up the moral implications and such - don't know if I want to commit myself to an additional three years of schooling which would bring the total up to 6 years left - aka half of the schooling I've already completed *gags*. The pay is nice, though. _________________

Thanks. I fully understand how Jasmine feels with the "3 days to get married" bit now. _________________

Lol, we all feel that way at some point. My grandmother had an arranged marriage set up for me! Of course, we're not going through with it... but just the thought... ::shudder:: |
