Yeah, reputedly, Animators hated getting saddled with the hero-figure of the movie.
Thank God for Beast and Aladdin, making the male side of the movies more interesting.

I don't think he's attractive, but he definetly has an awesome voice.

In the words of Glen Keane, "..and then there's often the boring hero-the prince charming. And nobody ever wanted to animate prince charming."
So, true. They kinda disappeared after a while. Now they are just strapping males.
Al, Shang, Herc when he was a teenager (I don't know why) and Prince Philip are good lookin'. Now why can't they be walking around in real life? |

I saw Prince Phillip walking around in real life yesterday. He was hot. I took pics.
