Is there an easier way to skip page numbers in a thread? Like, if a thread is a hundred pages long, I have to go through pages one by one. DO you know what I mean?

Well, from the index of each forum there are links to to the individual pages; is that what you mean?

What I mean is...

Ya see how it has links to the first few pages then to the last few? What if I wanted a page in the middle? There is no link to it, so I'd have to click"Next" until I get to it.

My question is: Is there an easier way to get to middle pages than by pressing "Next" until I get to it?

Now is it clear?

If you remember the specific thing, you can go up to search and put in the information. It will then bring you results and you can click the link that will bring you to the page.

Okay, first thing, I can't hack into phpBB, so don't ask. Sad

Second, wouldn't that stretch the page? A lot? Shocked

I've been at boards where all the numbers were scrolled at the bottom in a really tiny font. If I find an example, I'll show it.

But other than that, that's the only way I can think of that would help you get to a specific page. You'd just have to know what you are looking for or some keywords. And from that point, you can go backwards from that number.

DisneySites as the option to desc the posts making the last post the first in a thread/topic. I haven't found an option for it in phpBB boards.

You can return search results as posts instead of threads/topics. In thread/topic index you can click on the arrow with a page icon next to a username to go directly to the last post.
