Lemme just simple state: this game is sick in the best way possible.
I'm not going to go into too many details, 'cause the least little thing would really spoil it. I'm just gonna say a few things about the worlds.
First off, Pirates of the Carebian (forgive my spelling butchery) is simply awesome. It manages to be realistic and fit in with the cartoonish style of the game at the same time. And... oh gods, Jack. *glomps him*
I luffed the Beast's Castle. Just being able to roam about that... *tear*
Atlantica... suprised me. There's like... no battling. All the major events in that level are carried out through DDR-esque song battles. Kinda odd... but Sora singing Under the Sea with Sebastian is so cute. I still can't get it out of my head... "Subarashi~ Under da sea~" XD
I'll post more later. I'm like... gonna pass out any minute. X_X; _________________ ~.oO Destiny is SO Overrated Oo.~

I'm considering buying this game if I can get a PS2 cheap on ebay. I haven't owned a console since the SNES, after years sitting on a shelf I gave it away years ago. That says enough about KH2 |

BAH! You live in Japan? No. Fair. I am just about obsessed with this game.
And I think I've heard the audio of Sora singing that. I've been trying to stay away from watching all the mini-movies and I've been doing well. I have another...two months before I can finally play!! |

I wish I lived in Japan. XD I have a friend that has an imported PS2, and I'll be getting one for myself one day.
I have the entire OST for KH2, and let me tell you, it's fabulous. <3 <3 This is how you're SUPPOSED to make music for the sequal of a game, with music from the previous game remixed to fit the mood, as well as new music (not just entirely new music like a certain other Square sequal >>).
And... god, the songs from Atlantica were great. I thought Ursula was a guy at first, her Japanese voice is so deep. And her pronounciation amuses the hell outta me. "Fluutsum! Jetsum!" *giggles insanely*
Oh, and Donald and Goofy sing in the one song. Be afraid. Be very afraid. _________________ ~.oO Destiny is SO Overrated Oo.~

Why didn't I think of that? March 30th needs to hurry up.
I thought about downloading the soundtrack, but I think some people mentioned something about spoliers being on it, so I strayed away |

Oh, god, I love "Passion". I found the intro to KH2 on a website and I fell in love with that song. _________________

There really isn't much in the way of spoilers on the OST, asside from the name of the Blonde Haired Boy. You can just find that looking at random fan sites now.
I have the Passion single too, which has the remix of Passion ~After Battle~. Not much different from the original ~After Battle~ in my opinion, but to each their own. XD
If anyone wants it, they can buzz me on AIM... much later. X_X; 'effin phone waking me up at ungodly hours... _________________ ~.oO Destiny is SO Overrated Oo.~

There's so many spoliers and stuff out right now, I can't even begin to tell you what's going on even if I read them
I think http://www.khinsider.com/ has some spoilery stuff. |

Awesome! These games are so strange I'm not sure I'd want to play them given the chance, but I definitely wanted to learn more about them.
But WHAT, if I may ask, is up with Pride Rock? In the first game, it was mentioned that Simba's world was destroyed. Is this a plothole, or did they actually come up with a way to bring it back prematurely?
(Maybe it IS a plothole, in which case I will sit and gloat.)
Whoo-hoo-hoo, singing battles in the ocean. Guybrush Threepwood should have been around for those. (He's a terrible singer; he could have won by giving the enemies a stroke.)
Y'know, I've never had any videogame soundtracks. The best I've done is download MIDIs for console games (and may I say, the GBA Hercules' music is AWESOME). I do have the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack, though, and that is the greatest chunk of Elfman-ism in the universe. (Oogie Boogie's song is the complete version, with the missing verse and the odd-teen second clip that was originally accompanied by a cell drawing of Oogie dancing.) And it's narrated by Patrick Stewart. You just don't get much more awesome than that. _________________ *

Umm... didn't they RESTORE all the worlds at the end the first game? Hence the way you would WIN, seeing how that was the objective... I know they showed the movies of all the princesses back where they belong and Kairi and Sora were separated for even longer. (WHICH WAS SO SAD!)
...So yeah... wouldn't that include PRIDE ROCK? |

Ah, that's funny. I read a complete transcript, and it didn't seem to say a lot about restoring the worlds; I should probably look again. It seemed more to me like they didn't accomplish much of anything beyond sealing off a bunch of worlds and discovering the Secret of Kingdom Hearts(TM).
...Yep, I checked. That's all they did. I mean, they apparently defeated Ansem, but Riku's still lurching around somewhere, and last we knew he had a good bit of Ansem in him. These writers really need to take better care of their loose ends.
Which reminds me... if all these worlds were sealed, why on Earth do they need helping again? I mean, these guys handled their own problems in the movies without Sora's help. (Honestly, it seems to me that this game is little more than a huge Mary-Sue fest, like the Never-Before-Heard-Of-Tenth-Member-Of-The-Fellowship. Live out your fantasies of being in the movies!) The worst of these, by far, is The Nightmare Before Christmas. Poor Jack seems to have had what was left of his Burtonian dignity stripped away by the Disney Influence.
And one more question, which may seem utterly pointless and stupid... but if this is a Final Fantasy crossover, where are the tonberries? I know you fight mostly Heartless, but it seems to me that maybe Barbossa's cave of cursed treasure ought to have tonberries. Lots of them. _________________ *

That's where KHII comes in at . Sora is on a search for him, but runs into the 13th Order, gets into trouble, blah blah blah. Riku can't make up his mind--is he evil or not?
But yeah, they were just sealed as in to prevent the darkness from completely destroying it like the others. |
