Wow. Now that would be some toothpaste. My mom only buys Colgate. I can't see how it would taste, though? Orange? _________________ "I too am a member of your species, Captain, or I was. It tastes like orange flavored. I just don't care for the minty flavored. And the Aladdin stuff is berry flavored. _________________

Maybe they make it like a berry or fruity flavored for kids because the flouride, the minty, or the cinammon is too hott for them or it burns their tongue. They had to make the toothpaste more tolerate for them. |

My eight-year-old brother loves Certs (really, really strong mints), so I don't think the tongue-burning issue could explain it completely.
I believe it's probably just that little kids simply prefer sweet flavors over strong. It's one of those things that's hard-wired into peoples' brains - sweet indicates a sugar content, which means a fast energy boost.
Of course, it could just be that kids tend to be more accustomed to sweet flavors, so the mint/cinnamon toothpaste is rather an unpleasant shock. My brother is not accustomed to overly-sweetened foods on a regular basis, so I think he's more adapted to less-sweet flavors.
Now, I personally hate candies and whatnot laced with cinnamon oil. It has nothing to do with the 'heat,' but rather that I find the scent somehow revolting. (Cinnamon powder, on the other hand, is a completely different story - I like it just fine.) _________________

We had to stop buying the cinnamon toothpaste because we were getting hungry with the smell of it |

Oooh, spiffy!! Sadly, I'd probably need at least 2-3 yards. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. But I will put anything into my mouth that is given to me, whether it's supposed to go there or not. Because... I'm different. |
