I guess the only thing to do, really, is to wait for the game to come out so somebody can write a script. (I'm fairly sure at this point that I don't want to play the game; even if I had a PS2, it's just too, too weird.) _________________ *

I've seen many clips and boss battles of KH2, but I won't tell them where I found them, to avoid spoiling you mortals.
Anyways, I was pretty ticked that Disney didn't put me in KH2 as a boss/character, but I got over it now anyways. _________________ Well I'd like a Good Laugh too! I'm Laughing already! Hahahahaha!

Oh, I could watch all the mini movies if I wanted to (although I think they'd be in Japanese ), but I've been avoiding them. I want full gaming experience March 28th!! |

Yeah, it kinda sucks when they ignore the truly awesome villains. At least this time they put in awesome movies (Pirates of the Caribbean, Mulan) instead of weird crap like Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh.
But hey, look on the bright side. When Sora's done helping Aladdin fend off Jafar and finally retires, you can skulk in and get your mighty conquest going. Without Brown-Haired Pipsqueak and his bodyguards, Agrabah ought to be easy pickings.

Well, this mortal won't be playing the game, so the only visual I'm getting will be from clips I manage to run down. I guess I'll go poke around Gamespot... excuse me, Halli the Mini-Wraith is muttering something about sucking the life out of you for being stingy. I'm sure he's kidding. _________________ *

Which reminds me... if all these worlds were sealed, why on Earth do they need helping again? I mean, these guys handled their own problems in the movies without Sora's help. (Honestly, it seems to me that this game is little more than a huge Mary-Sue fest, like the Never-Before-Heard-Of-Tenth-Member-Of-The-Fellowship. Live out your fantasies of being in the movies!) |
That inherant Mary-Sueness is probably a huge factor in the game's success.

The worst of these, by far, is The Nightmare Before Christmas. Poor Jack seems to have had what was left of his Burtonian dignity stripped away by the Disney Influence. |
I agree. And when you think about it, Burton/Disney should be pretty much inherantly incompatible. Disney tends toward magical-type stuff; Burton is more of a mechanical-thinker. (Indeed, it's been stated in the special features that Burton wanted Halloweentown to be an un-magical world. All their little goodies and whatnot were mechanical.)
I still protest the 'curse' ability or whatever they gave Jack. If anything, he should've been able to pull off his arm or leg and make it into some kind of weapon. That would've been the Burton way of business!

And one more question, which may seem utterly pointless and stupid... but if this is a Final Fantasy crossover, where are the tonberries? I know you fight mostly Heartless, but it seems to me that maybe Barbossa's cave of cursed treasure ought to have tonberries. Lots of them. |

And the Nightmare Before Christmas round still isn't magical, but more mechanical. The only magic that is brought there is the magic in Sora's keyblade when fighting.
Jack has some sort of...swipe attack or something |

Yeah, they did tend to stick more to mechanics, I noticed. Like the machine they were using to control the Heartless.
What gets me is the Halloween Town plot for the second game. "Jack needs the help of Sora and co. to rescue Sandy Claws and pull off Christmas in time..." blah blah. I mean, in the movie, Jack totally botched Christmas. What is this?
I was pretty sure there was some kind of "curse" thing. A side ability, I think it was. I still think it'd be way cooler if he could pull faces at enemies and make them run away... or at least phenomenally plummet their Attack and Defense stats. (It sure worked on Boogie's Boys in the movie!) _________________ *

Yeah, you start with *insert name here in case no one wants to hear*, then play as Sora after you leave *insert name of round here*
Just out of curiousity, did he get the game on Tuesday? or Wednesday? |
