Hey all. Guess what? After some hours of work, I finally finished the picture collage which depicts almost all the enemies of Aladdin and the villains of the 7 deserts (including me of course!)
Those whom you'll be seeing in the bottom are evil the whole time, moralless, neutral, or was evil at one point, then redeemed themselves.
Anyways, I present this work for you mortals and other people to behold!

I'm glad you remembered Prince Achmed. But why is Cassim listed as a villain? Don't tell me he was teamed up with you behind Al's back?! His own father!

Well, he was the King of Thieves. Now, personally, I never saw him as a villain. I think, though, that if he ever teamed up with Mozenrath it was to gain riches or something. But also, if he teamed up with Mozenrath, there will be serious hell to pay.

Yeah, he is pretty greedy. Why am I under the impression that when he left with Iago at the end of the movie, they were going back to a life of crime.  I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Hell to pay for whom? Aladdin, cause he found out his dad is teamed up with Mozenrath, or Cassim, cause if I were Aladdin I would never forgive him. Well, I might. He just has to show all my friends that I have the best father. He has to ride well, and always look his best.
Well, the good thing is, he's not in it for power, or to take over or anything. Just riches. Don't really know if that's better or worse.

Hell to pay for whomever makes Cassim a villain.
But wait. I better just chill where that's concerned, since I'm all for creativity, no matter what. (Unless people make xxx versions of my favourite characters, but that's another story.)
As for Cassim and Iago, that can go any way a fan wants to take it. A life of crime, looking for treasure, or just plain adventure. You decide.

I agree with you. Although, I also think she is an individual who could be pursuaded. Afterall, she was mostly lonely and just wanted friends. If the right (or wrong?) influence approached her, she could become a villain. And that could be either Mozenrath or Mirage.
Actually, for a long time, I've wanted to do a fanfic where Sadira and Mozenrath get together, but I need to map out the story in my head first. All I see is them getting together, but I don't yet see the events leading up to it. Also, I'm afraid that if I wrote such a story, the side of good might have to lose or at least get severely wounded.

As you know, Sadira's one of my apprentices, since she learned many spells and moves from her "master" who is me. Also, she's another great friend to be with.
And yes, Cassim is a "villain" because he IS the King of Thieves. Like you all said, it's no surprise if he and Iago go back to a life of crime and stealing. And I could use Cassim as my pawn to get what we want. *evil grin*
It's also a relief that they did NOT make me Aladdin's brother in KOT, because that would screw up my character, and I would not want to have any relations with that lowly mortal.

Yes, but Cassim is not a villain in the sense that he did what he does because his motivation was to make a better life for his wife and son. He is not a full-out bad guy like Abis Mal or Mozenrath. He is more of the morally ambigious characters.
And I'm pretty sure that he would not go into the service of a delusional sorcerer under the impression that he is a god.

It's good LM but like Shiera (AG) I don't see Sadira as a villian. Same for Iago. He worked for Jafar yes but he made a drastic change in return of Jafar. Theres another part to Iago you have to see in order to understand but I'm serious. Just because he worked for Jafar, doesn't exactly make him "bad". Jafar had much control over him, and could really hurt him if he wanted to. So of course Iago would do what he had to do to stay on Jafar's good side.
