I know what you mean about tossing every problem out the window while at a Disney park shiera. Same thing for me. Thats why I love going so much, it helps me forget my problems. Hell if I had a pass I would probrably just go there just for the sake of being there. A ride or 2 never hurts but just relaxing there is the best. |
At the time, I was about to enter college, thought I was moving out, and was about to start a new chapter in my life. It was the best way to get all of the past frustrations and lifetime of crapola out of your system and just start fresh. I felt like I was ready for anything. Little did I know the new chapter would suck just as much as the last one

I'm telling you, your missing out if you don't come to DL. It's just awsome and theres no need to take buses to every park. DCA if right across from DL so you just walk |
I'm....thinking about it, still.
And you could walk in WDW too...it would just take you a very long time to get to where you need to go . It's like a mini-city |

Doesn't aladdin where a shirt under his vest in the parks? What a rip-off
It's like giving Tarzan a shirt |
Yeah, they do. I guess they had to go by family standards because Al is with the kids out there.
If you're out in the sun and you're shirtless then you wouldn't want them to go near him.
If Aladdin is Hott then I would.
But then again Tarzan goes shirtless and every breathing women goes crazy seeing him. But he's in the parade.

YAY Disney Afternoon characters!!!! On CP, Rescue Ranger Chip practiacally proposed to me (got on one knee and kissed my hand repeatedly) when I met him and RR Dale and sang their theme song and danced with them. They both put hearts before their names when they signed my book, too...I have an online friend who knows the chipmunks quite well and says they get tired of people saying "Look! It's Indiana Jones Chip and Hawaiian Dale!" and don't GET it. One of my friends and I educated a few kids on Main Street, USA, too...they were standing in a HUGE line to see Darkwing Duck and Launchpad McQuack and didn't know who they WERE, so we told them. When we got to the front of that line, Darkwing had gone on break (), but he came back when we were in the neighboring line to see ALL SEVEN DWARFS(!!!!), and he definitely heard us yell "LET'S GET DANGEROUS" and got excited. |
I'm so sad I never got to see them like that! They didn't start doing that til after my program was over.

But he's not even in Parade of Dreams! *sob* I'm glad Parade of the Stars (POS...hehehehe) is gone, but I miss seeing Tarzan. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. If they can let their children watch him, then they can let their children go by him. Some man pecks aren't going to kill them...unless they get poked in the eye by a nipple or something

It's reverse prejudice...Ariel and Jasmine are allowed to be in seashell bras and short little midriff baring tops, respectively, but Aladdin has to wear a shirt and Tarzan has to have some vine-covered spear holder thing doing a not-very-effective-but-I-guess-they-were-obligated-to-try cover-up job on him? NOT. FAIR. (Maybe I'm just bitter because working at Epcot, WAY too many dads who took their kids to Princess Dining felt obligated to tell me "(Ariel, Jasmine, or both) is DADDY'S favorite princess. *wink, wink, rant about Ariel wearing a gown to dinner if he was talking about Ariel*" and that got old FAST...so I'm inclined to think that it isn't fair that the men get to be quasi-indulged.) |

I always find that soooo amusing when some older man says that cause Ariel is 16 and Jasmine was 15 turning 16. Sick
When I was in Disney World, there was a man in front of me who lied to his wife about where he was when she called because he wanted to get a picture with Jasmine. "Oh, I'm in front of Splash Mountain. I'm on my way back with the food." Like when they get the film developed, she isn't going to notice that there's food and Jasmine in the same picture |

Mini? The property is bigger than Manhattan! (I believe twice the size...) It can qualify as full-fledged city. I think it has its own ZIP code. LOL
That said...park hopping at DL ROCKS. I wanted to literally HOP between DCA and Disneyland while I was there, but I'd been on my feet too long and didn't have the energy to go the whole way. Plus, I started laughing at myself. "Look mom! I'm park hopping!" "Ellen...you're weird" |

I said I'd do it, and I did! For anyone not on my LJ friends list who is interested in watching the final pass ever of Tapestry of Dreams, the download links are in my LJ here!!
I have 8 tapes FULL of WDW video from my College Program, so if there's any rides or shows that anyone wants to see video of, just let me know! I've got virtually everything tape-able that was running from May 02-May 03. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. Jasmine has the cloak because of the frigid weather sometimes. I've seen her without it on warm summer days but on cold days like this one she's gotta dress warm
As you can tell we were trying to keep warm as well _________________
