S'that's what the beard's for. I wondered about that.
By the way, if a female's gonna get grouchy due to hormones, it's usually just before her time of month - which is why it's called pre-menstrual syndrome, or simply PMS.

Well, it could short for "Alex", "Alexandra", "Alanna", "Alyson", etc.
I've never had the nickname "Al" though.

Methinks it's the rather flamboyant, aggressive style. It's not written in a bad way - it just tends to lend an aire of masculinity.
Oh, and you also mentioned you were filling the role of Romeo - I think that also gave me the impression you were male.

Actually, I don't mind being confused. In fact, I really don't like it when people find out I'm a girl... or I says it. xP
