Sorry, but i couldn't help making a thread for this.
Enchanted, coming out sometime in 07. Animation/Live Action. The first 8 minutes takes place in the past in a fairy tale world. With a princess, Giselle, who, through song, finds her prince. But the evil queen, mother of the prince, doesn't believe in their love and sends Giselle down a well. Giselle then finds herself in modern day New York city in a live action world. She finds a single father who falls in love with her.
Cast-- (more good news for you Wicks  )
Giselle- Amy Adams
Robert- Patrick Dempsey
Prince Edward- James Marsden
Queen Narissa- Susan Sarandon
Nancy- iDena Menzel
& Timothy Spall (from HP as Wormtail) Title unlisted, so i'm guess various voices maybe
And i'm use you'll all love this

Alan Menken and Stephen Swartz! oh my heart!

Ooooh! Sounds like my type of film!
It kind of reminds me of Tenth Kingdom, though. Maybe it's the fairy tale, evil queen, and New York City parts.

They have Kristin Chenoweth in one project and Idina Menzel in another...ROCK.
And...I don't think I can gush enough about Menken and Schwartz.  |

i think it's really funny. i'm not really sure which character is 'Nacy' who is played by Menzel, i'm guessing it's the man's daughter. That or a friend in the fairytale world. Because in an interview she does say she's seen some rough drafts of her animated self. So it's someone who is one point animated.

i'm SO excited about the whole Menken/Schwartz duo! i think they'll be great together! and i loves them both (Biggest Pippin fan on earth!!!)

They already are! See: Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. 
I don't know really know much about Pippin, but I love Wicked and Children of Eden as far as Schwartz is concerned.
And Alan Menken's music has probably more affected me than anyone else's. |

Yes. lol, no not really. The only actors i know are whats his face (worm tail from HP) and Menzel who's original in RENT and Wicked.
