I never saw either of those
Really though--go out on the street and ask people to name 5 Disney movies. You'll probably get a 3/5, 4/5 result rating. Then ask them to name 5 dreamworks movies. You MIGHT get 1/5, 2/5 if you're lucky. Disney pwnz dreamworks. |

Let's see...Antz, Shrek and Shrek 2, Chicken Run, The Prince of Egypt, and Wallace and Grommit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
That's five and I know a couple more. _________________

Pfft. The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Shrek/Shrek 2 Galaxy Quest, and Shark Tale. The last of which actually sucked, but the other four/five are AWESOME. Way better than anything Disney's pooted out in the same amount of years (excepting Pirates of the Caribbean, which I love and may actually lure me to Disneyland one day).
I dunno... I think I'd border on barfing if I had to hug one of those sugar-ladies, especially in front of a camera. Give me some Disney princes, on the other hand (say, Beast?) and I may be able to survive, although hugging any kind of Disney character is still a little sickening on principle.
Then again, I'm not really a little girl anymore. Which is good, since I'm no longer tearing the heads from Barbie dolls. I like my men live, with gills if I can get 'em. _________________ *

Myself, I wouldn't want to be hugging some guy in a blue costume. Genie-in-the-movie looks right huggable, but... a guy in a costume? Hecknohecknoheckno!
Part of it may have to do with the fact that I really don't like the idea of hugging a complete stranger. I don't care who they are or who they're dressed up as; if I don't know 'em, I ain't touching them! _________________

Dressed up? What are you talking about? That was really Genie!!
/naive
It takes half the fun out of it if you don't act like that's the character. There's no point, then. |

Even if I could pretend for a moment that said person-in-costume was actually the character, the illusion would be shattered the minute a hug was attempted, as there's no way I can see these characters actually doing this. _________________

Dressed up or not, it's still fun to hug em. 'Specially Pluto!
I just give mad props to the characters in full costume and can do a decent sig. Trying to do that is freakishly impossible _________________

To his friends, yes. But to a weirdo like me... no, not really.
I mean, can you really see Genie just walking up to Sadira and giving her a hug? _________________

Jafar has GILLS? Why didn't anybody say so earlier? Let me at 'im!
Seriously, though, it wouldn't be so bad with somebody like Aladdin (where you can see the person's real face), but when it comes to guys in big rubber suits it just loses something. Besides, it's no fun interacting with the character unless I get to be a character, too, and they're liable to find that really confusing. _________________ *
