Actually, brown is a mix of half red and partially green, but we've ended this discussion so don't mind me Laughing

Yeah, we each have an interpretation of how Al's kids would look like, e.i. my threads.

One of them should remind Al of his mom. I mean, he should remember at least something, even if she did die when he was just a kid.

Something about Al's mom could be in there later on or it could not. You'll just have to see. Wink

What a beautiful drawing on your character! Good job! dazzeling diamond
Gee, what a heated debate on a name.
Maybe Jasmine heard the name somewhere and thought it was pretty and decided to name her daughter Hazel.

But the term isn't correct in her sentence.

Quote:

Wouldn't be -

"Yeah, it's possible, she may have heard it....quite possible, after all, living in a palace with many educated people."

Wait.... would "many" and "people" serve as a double purpose because it's discussing quantity? or would " many" be such an emphasis to the term?

Laughing If I am wrong, then it's something that I have never heard before.

Calluna is right. "Learned" as in "learned people" is correct. However, that particular use of the word has generally fallen out of favor these days.

I'll show you can example from my copy of The Magician's Nephew.

The Magician's Nephew wrote:
"For in the very dawn of time Atlantis was already a great city with palaces and temples and learned men."

It's an older term, but nontheless correct.
