Warning: Mature art. See http://davidkawena.deviantart.com/gallery/#Disney-Heroes. Hope it is taken in good taste. Astounding I say!
EDIT: I'm late to every party.

*Laughs at AG's reaction in advance*
It won't die!
(No offense to Mirage-- we've just... seen these before. )
EDIT: Let me just add that I love the Sitka and Tarzan ones. Incredible. Sitka was my wallpaper for a couple weeks. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

It's not your fault, hon. He's been doing those for a few years now, but he's still working on them, so it's ok to show up to the party late. Most of us have sat down and want to go home from the party, anyways.
They're all gorgeously rendered, but sometimes I get a great sense of the character and other times I'm not sure who I'm staring at because it's so far gone since they're SO over-the-top. The characters' personalities are lost for some visual simulation that sounds better than it looks when it's actually applied
Plus, that whole lower region gets ridiculous in some of them. I just telling a friend that it looks like Lumiere or Cogsworth is shoved in Beasts' underwear in his picture
And I really, really wanna just re-do that Aladdin one...really |

ROTFL True. But then that's the fun of drawing heroes. Plus it would be heavenly to be shoved in there. Now I think I'd better stop. |

I meant no offense. They just seem to be discovered frequently in various places. His art lives everywhere. My comment wasn't about you discovering it, more about the art itself and its incredible staying power. There's people who think it's hot, people who think it rapes their childhood, and people who just can't understand the fascination. I tend to fall in the first category... for some, anyway.
Aladdin's is not so good, imo.[/quote] _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

I just wish Cassim and Gaston was there. He said he's making a villain series, so Gaston and Mozenrath would be there I hope. And I agree Aladdin's not so good, facial expression especially. He could've done the cap and the jacket, but that would've taken the fashion equation out.

That Gaston one looks so much like a caricature. But it is incredibly hot.

A really hot caricature. I can't believe I still find Gaston hot after over 17 years of admiration.
I'd also like to reiterate the request for a Cassim one. I would pretty much faint. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

The Hercules portrait reminds me of the portrait in "Beauty and the Beast."
uhh before I go looking at all of these... I don't want to see any organs. Will I be seeing any organs? _________________

*Giggles because she's 5*
Nah, there's no actual nudity in the collection. Just lots of men in small undies. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

haha thanks.
I might be 18, but i would rather my mind NOT be scarred by naked versions of childhood heroes. _________________

The Hades one is better! (I need to persuade him to do one of Jafar. Yes, I'm serious.) |

I hadn't seen the Hades one until you pointed it out-- it is awesome.
But I'm not sure if the Clayton is hot or horrifying... _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |
