What movie or movies do you want to see the most this year?
I can't wait to see Resident Evil: Retribution in 3D. |

I wanted to see Snow White and the Huntsman and Brave, but all the mixed reviews deterred me. I'm already bored to death with most movies these days, so I didn't want to waste time on something I'd probably go "oh, okay" to and that's that. |

Snow White was pretty good. Kristen Stewart's acting was horrible but Charlize Theron's made the movie worth watching. Wait for the dvd. |

Yeah, that's pretty much what I heard, although I also heard Charlize got a bit grating at times, too. |

I was looking forward to Brave the most probably. I was a little bit disappointed TBH, not to say that it was bad or anything, just not up to Pixar par IMO.
Also looked forward to Snow White, which I haven't seen.
Saw The Avengers too. I love superhero movies. _________________

That's more or less what I've been hearing. I think they pumped it up to be this super girl power movie and then it suddenly changes tones in the middle of it to some other story line. |

Yeah, pretty much. When the major plot entered, I was little bit like... okayyy, pixar, i guess?
Everything about the plot has been done before, and the music was generic acoustic Scottish pop.
Some things were done very well though. The animation was beautiful, and the witch scene (very Miyazaki-esque IMO) was really good. And although there were cliches, there were many times when they avoided obvious cliche opportunities. _________________

It would be nice as I think it's one of the movies most suited for it, (how awesome would that escape from the cave be in 3D?) but I doubt it. |

Yeah, so far I haven't heard anything for Aladdin besides it coming to Blu-ray next year. 3-D would be great. |
