What are some of your favorite examples of Aladdin actors in other works?
Obviously, I'm a big Aladdin as Steve on "Full House" fan. STEVE IS ALADDIN! His relationship to DJ mirrors Aladdin's relationship to Jasmine is a lot of ways, IMO. And, I'll admit it, Scott looks very, very nice on the show.
I loved Jerry Orbach on "Law and Order". I never got a Sa'luk vibe from him, but his smartass comments always cracked me up.
Robin Williams in "Good Will Hunting" was awesome. He stole every scene he was in, IMO.
There are more that I'm not thinking about at the moment, so I'll add those later. Bigger post count, yay!

All I can think of off the top of my head is that it freaks me out that the same person plays Rasoul and Winnie the Pooh. _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! After all... you do bear the name of a flower." -- Arbutus |

Rasoul and POOH?
Geez, I'm glad they didn't screw THAT voice track up!

Gilbert as the principal in Problem Child is hilarious
I love Robin in Mrs. Doubtfire. *hugs that movie*
A lot of the additional voices in the show like Tress McNeille (Faraboo) and Dan (Genie, of course) are also voices on another favorite show of mine, Hey Arnold. I always get a kick out of hearing Dan go from Homer/Homer's Grandpa to Arnold's Grandpa to Genie. |

I think the Genie/Homer Simpson thing is great. Every once in awhile, Genie gets a "Doh!" in there!
On a side note, Dan Castallaneta will be on Stargate SG-1 sometime this spring. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. But I will put anything into my mouth that is given to me, whether it's supposed to go there or not. Because... I'm different. |

Yeah, he's done a toooon of voices. He also did the intro for "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth" at Epcot, I believe. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. Robin in Goodmorning Vietnam is my favorite he's also over the top in Mrs. Doubtfire.
Gilbert in Problem Child 2 where he goes ranting just like Iago. Full House is one of my all time favorite shows. Steve and DJ made the best couple much better then that rich guy she dated later. |

That's like dumping Aladdin for Prince Achmed. *shudders*
And Jim also does Tigger. He gets a big salute from me.
And the woman who does Rajah's voice in the movie is also Minnie. She goes from the hunter to the hunted |

Keith David was awesome on "Gargoyles" Add to that train Jeff Bennett, though I must say that I prefer Amin 10fold to Brooklyn.
Paul Kandel's Triplets remind of Clopin, who he also played.
John Rhys-Davies has done a bunch of voices too. Macbeth, Treebeard, and random HOM narriations come to my mind first, but then again, my brain is tired from 3 hours of sleep on the day before a final. _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

John has that father type feel about him. He was Mowgli's "father" in the Jungle Book 2.
And I can hear Abis Mal in Alexander on Seinfield a lot. Not to mention Haroud in Uncle Phil on the Fresh Prince of Bel-air |

I still think it's adorable that she's married to the guy that does the voice of Mickey. _________________ I don't need intelligent drugs, because I don't know what they are. Aw, I didn't know that.
I love Scott Weinger in Full House. He is so cute on that show, especially when he's eating, which is all the time.
I also like Dan Castellaneta as Homer. He's hilarious!
Robin Williams was awesome in Mrs. Doubtfire and Ferngully. _________________ When in doubt, hurt the bird.

I thought Frank Welker (Abu) was also Rajah.

I saw RoJ long before I ever saw Seinfeld, so I still think of George as Abis Mal. There's this one episode where George and Kramer go mountain climbing, and he starts jibbering with fear like he did in RoJ when he saw Jafar. _________________ "If only I could believe you. lol, I saw one just recently where Kramer sold a baseball card that was signed by the Yankees that George had in his posession, and was supposed to get one more baseball player to sign. Kramer told him what happened to the card and he went off the deep end. "What are you nuts?!" Abis Mal was there all the way. |
