James Monroe Iglehart paid his respects tonight, too.
I feel like the most they're gonna do is restock Genie dolls at the Disney Store. |
Is there a video of James paying his respects? Or an article about it? He doesn't appear to have a Twitter account like Courtney Reed and Adam Jacobs.
Courtney Reed paid her respects on Twitter and posted the same KOT screencap of Jasmine kissing Genie that Lea posted. Courtney seems like such a sweetie.
Scott's post broke me. So did Gilbert's. I am aching over here. |

I will say, though, if anything this has brought us all together (even if it's in a way we wished it wouldn't). So many people I haven't spoken to in forever are getting in contact with me in e-mails and text messages, and it's nice seeing some of you old AC members, as well.
Just incase you thought you could leave this fandom - you can't |

That's true. It's also good that our fandom is "reuniting". I'm glad to be posting here again.
Heck no. I don't want to leave this fandom. I love Aladdin too much to leave the fandom. |

Once in the fandom you're always in the fandom. Kinda like the 40 Thieves
It kinda is like a family in a way with everyone coming together like this. _________________

I guess this is the perfect time to tell you all you signed away your lives when you got a membership here, you just didn't know it at the time. Somehow I don't think any of you would be upset, though |

Nope. I'm not upset in the slightest. Reading posts on here has helped cheer me up. |

My heart broke today when I heard about his death. It made me even sadder when I saw here Scott's and Gilbert's posts.
Farewell, Robin Williams. We will miss you but you will be in our hearts forever. |

I am in no way upset by this. I follow the code of the 40 Thieves to the letter. I lie, I cheat, and I never brush my teeth, but I care for you guys and hope that I can mother you all! _________________ "This cow's been covered with flour!" |

Here's a beautiful tribute article by Gilbert Gottfried. Well worth the read!

It always made me laugh to hear stories about the insanity that would go on between Robin Williams and Gilbert Gottfried during the making of the movie "Aladdin." The truth was Robin and I didn't bump into each other once during the making of that film. I recorded the Parrot role, and he recorded the Genie separately. So when I saw the film for the first time at the premiere, I was able to laugh along with the rest of the audience at Robin's performance. I had never heard it before. |

I've been having the same experience. This hurts, but seeing everyone's responses here and elsewhere is really helping. Mostly, everyone is just confused as to how Robin Williams has stopped moving and breathing. That seemed impossible before yesterday.

"I went up onstage. I did quite well and as I walked offstage, Robin came up to me wiping his eyes from laughing and said to me, "Oh Gilbert, you really baked my cookies." I of course took this as a strange sexual double entendre, and I always do, but Robin meant it as a sincere compliment." |
I love this cast much
I went and had the battery on one of my Genie watches fixed today. I told them if they ruined my watch I'm coming for their family. They laughed. I wasn't joking |

I haven't posted here for ages, I still lurk but I felt I had to say something today... Robin has been such a huge part of my childhood & beyond, this is devastating
My social networks have just been full of tributes all day, you can see how he was adored by so many people... That tweet from Scott absolutely killed me. |
