I've read in one of the ghost stories websites about the New Orleans Square at the Gallery. It says that Walt is up there haunting it because it's his apartment. That story isn't true because Walt's apartment is in Main Street.
But the gallery is haunted but it's not by the ghost of Walt. The gallery used to be an apartment for Walt's wife Lily. Before the park was created, there used to be a farm house where the gallery/New Orleans square location. The farm house was burned down and it killed a little girl.
Disneyland was built and it became Lily's apartment. Plates were flying off the shelves, and doors slamming. After the Disney family left Disneyland because of Walt's death. The apartment became the gallery. The little girl determines whether she like you or not. If she likes you then she won't mess with you. If she doesn't then she play tricks on you. That's why if a cast member comes in to close because that where the office is at. You have to say "hello" when you come in and "goodbye" when you leave. That's why there are some cast members that are afraid to be there by themselves. Those that are not afraid and the little girl plays tricks. They tell her to stop and she'll stop. One time a cast member went upstairs with a lead to close. She needed to use the bathroom and she went in.
There was someone there. She said, " Oops! Sorry!" and walked out, She waited for the person come out and there was nobody in there. |

I haven't heard of that one, no! Where is she?
...is that the reason that the Matterhorn goes 101 every hour?

I think I narrowly escaped it today. My record for "closest call" was when a friend and I hit the splashdown at the end... and immediately heard the "please stay seated and we'll be along to help everyone out" announcement.
