Pardon my ranting, but Amazon has been really annoying me as of late. Earlier this month I purchased an item from them that was defective and had to return it, I waited for two weeks to get the refund, they told me it would be available today, and it wasn’t, and now they are saying it won’t be available for another few days, and I had to hit my father up for some money, which really embarrasses me. I won’t be buying anything from Amazon for a while because of this whole experience other than the TurboGrafx-16 Mini and the Evercade which I preordered weeks earlier because of this whole experience.

That's weird, I've never waited longer than a day or two for a refund. Did you buy it directly through Amazon or a merchant that's selling their merchandise through Amazon? The latter can be tricky sometimes.

About a month ago, I returned 2 items at once. The one got refunded right away, and the other took about 3 weeks. AG may be right about the merchant use though. I hope it all works out!

I finally got the refund last week, but it still annoyed me.

They're pretty quick to refund and amend but in light of recent global events, their supply and demand has been hitting unpredicted peak times and delays unfortunately. Glad it all worked out.
