That and the umpteen "Genie!" "Carpet!" "Aladdin!" "Abu!" and "Jasmine!" all being yelled out in moments of danger and surprise. Just reading them and you can pretty much picture which character said it and in exactly what way. |
When I read this comment, I was saying it just as how they would have been said before I even got to the part where you mentioned that |

I remember the Abismalisms page, too! Heather, was that back from the AML heyday?
A video would rock.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I did; I've still got it in a really old notebook, with the rest of the Aladdin stuff I did before I discovered online fandom.
I'd also like to see a video of all the times someone says "Carpet, let's move!" |
Oh, man. That makes me think of my approach to writing a fanfic. If there are repeated mannerisms or sayings, use them and you better reflect the source material. "Carpet..." I picked up on really quick. That and the umpteen "Genie!" "Carpet!" "Aladdin!" "Abu!" and "Jasmine!" all being yelled out in moments of danger and surprise. Just reading them and you can pretty much picture which character said it and in exactly what way. |

I should do this with the Abismalisms. (Although probably no one here remembers about that...) |
That page you made that had all the Abis Mal quotes in a big block of black text on a maroon background? I remember that; I miss it |

Yes! Yes! A video of Abismalisms would be great! I can think of some of my favorites now!
"Hurt him a lot! Hurt him - and his money - and his bird!"
"Oh... go away!"
And any number of lines that don't come to mind at the moment. |

I may have run across the Abismalisms, but I can't say for sure. The amount of times Abis Mal has shown up, I'm sure he's had some... remarkable lines. I'd definately like to see one for Mechanikles (why am I having a hard time with his name today?). |

I don't think that last one should have been on there, though, because I don't really consider it a Mozenrath quote. Just Aladdin very under the influence of Mozenrath's personality. |
I agree but it was funny of the maker to just stick it in there especialy at the end
"they can go ....but you can stay"- hmm who wouldnt want to stay?
okay now Im tempted to watch two to tangle-it was a great episode(excluding that it was the last we saw of mozenrath ) |

I'm glad "All in all, it's been a good night" was on there. It's so rare to find a villain with a sense of perspective.

I agree. So second best IMO would be:
"A test?! People could've been hurt!"
"And your point would be?"
Number three would be: "Before I'm done, princess, you'll give me everything." Simply for wrongness. |

Mozenrath's personality in a nutshell.
Y'know, when you really think about it, Brandis's voice acting job wasn't even that great. Not that he was a bad actor - he really wasn't - but it seems he suffered from that strange phenomenon where normally-good actors become frightfully sucky when put on voice-acting work. |
