I hate it when they pollute my hot Arabian babes with European features. :P Edit: The above comment could possibly be taken as racist. It's not. It just irritates me when they force different racial groups into a Western beauty standard.[/quote]

It takes place sometimes during the series. Aladdin and Genie are icky boys and we can't have that on a DVD about girl power
. But Jasmine says in the beginning they went away for...something. I don't remember. It's been a while since I watched that damn thing
Really, they just got rid of them so Jasmine cold do everything on her own, but it's not like she wasn't doing that before, so whatever. They got rid of Philip in Aurora's story, too, but at least he made an appearance

I'd be ok with this...as long as his personality is still there
LOL
Oh my...
I was looking through youtube for Jasmine's story on Enchanted Tales. I was sad though, nobody had a full segment of the story. I wanted to see them without renting or buying the movie. They had Jasmine's songs posted though, there were comments saying,
"Where in the world is Aladdin ? " Because there's carpet, Iago, and Abu. They said, Iago was gone after the third sooooooo why is he there? Was the peacock princess was before they were married or after? I had to answer
1. Kidnapped by Mozenrath
2. Cassim came to visit and Aladdin and Genie were with him in another location.
3. Marking trade routes for agrabah for the Sultan.

I know right. But I appreciate his style of art and try to ignore his fanatic way of our disney heroes.

I remember seeing this on deviantART. The artist is based in Israel and is studying animation and actually made some short films, some of which is posted on YouTube.
Which one the milk carton or the link one?

Hey, I just noticed that Al has nipples on that picture.
*peers closer*
The lips might not be as bad as I thought they were at first. They could be Middle Eastern, but those are definitely not Al's lips. The upper part of the top lip sticks out too much.

So it's that kind of House of Mouse fuzzy continuity, huh?
More or less. It just depends on if that particular animated version of Aladdin and Jasmine you run in to did any research or not

Big believer in the broken windows theory, that man.
Oh, definitely
. The situation was I was visiting Aladdin and Genie, and this Disney security guard came around near them to talk to the character attendant, I guess. Then afterwards, he waved to Aladdin and Aladdin was like "Uh oh, did Abu steal something? If he did, I swear I'll pay for it and I'm sorry! He should know better!" and he guard just shrugged it off and said "Eh, it's ok. It's just petty theft." I was standing there thinking "*facepalm* the guards would cut off his head for letting that go."

It depends on who you talk to
Most
of the Aladdin characters are aware of the movies past the first one, but I think they're only really required to see the first movie and anything else is on them because I may or may not have heard of a Jasmine who hasn't seen ROJ or KOT, but an Aladdin who has, so yeah
. And I remember one day Aladdin was running away from some character attendants yelling "I DIDN'T DO IT" as if he was still in the first movie, stealing stuff to live from the parks
.
I think they're just aware of the basics like "Al and Jas are married, Aladdin has a father, Jafar was defeated in ROJ", that stuff, but as far as exclusive park canon, they're aware of Disney World places and other Disney characters and stuff like that if that's what you mean.
God, Mickey Mouse is gonna kick my ass for breaking all this magic
The Jasmine at Disneyland, said when she was leaving her set that she needs to get back to her husband and that he was not feeling well. this one I knew of was up to date.
