It would make sense for him to be alerted she's missing, Genie saying he'll go since he knows Aladdin doesn't like those, and then Aladdin saying no he'll do it "For Jasmine", but I don't know. Does anyone have any international versions? But you know, if they did take forever to finally show the episode and we all caught at the same time a few years ago, that might explain why no one has the rest of it or even why it took them so long. Something might have happened to the tape if there is a rest of it
I got "Eight legs of spidery footprints disgusting. you don't know what they've been through" before reading what you thought it was.

That makes a lot more sense, actually.
Randomly capping Mekanikles leads to the best stuff. He has awesome expressions.

I checked my captions, and they agree with you except that "Eight legs of spidery footprints disgust me" was "Eight legs of spidery footprints. Disgusting!" That sounds right to me.
LOL at that screencap.

I'm working on "A Clockwork Hero" and having a hard time with a stretch of Mekanikles dialogue. It begins here-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvI7VqPG5Y4#t=3m41s.
I'm having a tough time with what he's saying as he runs under the sheet. This is what I think I'm hearing:
Mekanikles: SCOOTER! It's touching my creation!
Eight legs of spidery footprints disgust me! You don't know what they've been through!
Ah ha! You may be small, but I am big, big, big!
I bolded what I'm not sure of. I maybe need more than one Mekanikles translator in this episode, sometimes I have a hard time with him.
Finally, random screencap. This is how Mekanikles reacts to that spider:

It was the tape itself that snapped, and, yes, I just put some scotch tape on it. We'll see how long that lasts.
There was nothing in that part even back when it was on the Disney Channel! If something was cut out, it was cut out a
long
time ago.
This is also the episode whose opening scene is cobbled together from bits of other episodes and RoJ, so maybe
that's
got something to do with why it's shorter? Something very screwy is going on.

Broken how? I had a few broken tapes and fixed them myself by opening them and seeing what the problem was. Usually it was a spring that loose or something was preventing the wheels from turning. If the film has snapped, some tape can fix that problem. It'll just skip what's missing.

Well, actually I *do* have a tape, but it's broken. I'll have to see if I can get it fixed...

Oh, and while we're on the subject... I finally hooked up my own VCR, and even in my old Disney Channel recording of "Moonlight Madness" it says they were cursed by a wizard, not a witch. So it was just my memory that was faulty, apparantly.

Really?
I wonder if it's Toon Disney who messed up, because that episode is actually about 30 sec shorter than other episodes...
The beginning of "Of Ice and Men" had something similar, where it starts in the middle of a conversation. But that episode was the full 21 minutes, so we can't be missing much (if there's anything to miss).

...that's actually what he says coming back from that fade out. There's nothing before it and my tape has the commercial break uncut. If there was something there, it wasn't broadcasted on Toon Disney in the past seven years.
(And this was the last episode I recorded. It must have been one of those pain in the ass episodes to get cause I know it took me forever to get the one I recorded before it, Sands of Fate
)

I do, just give me a sec to find it on whichever tape I have it on....

This one's a little different...

At 1:40, notice how we're missing the first half of what Aladdin says there? Looks like whoever recorded this off of Toon Disney missed a few seconds after the commercial, and unfortunately Web of Fear is one of the episodes I don't have on tape... Anyone have a tape and can see what we're missing?

That's what I heard too, but yeah it's not very clear.
