I'd like to know how he got his gauntlet back. I mean, one episode he'll lose it and the next he has it back. For "The Lost City of the Sun" maybe Xerxes found it somehow :P. Is it even possible to get yourself out of the Crystal of Ix? I thought it keeps you from using your powers in order to get yourself out.
Amazing how quick we are to feel bad for a guy trying to destroy our hero
Aww, he could never beat Al. The guy was already dying from his unhealthy addiction to magic anyway XD. I pity him.
Thanks for the link, Calluna! Now I have to watch the series in that order. I had been confused about some of the Odeiferan episodes, too.

Thanks, Caluna. You gave me something to do in case this afternoon is as slow and quiet as yesterday morning.
Anyway, I like the Lost City of the Sun theory. I never would've thought of it.
Hmmm...gonna have to look at that site more later. "I'm sorry, I can't paddle today. I've found this really cool Mozenrath site."

I could have sworn there was a thread about this, but I guess it was just a post I made in the Random Thoughts Thread. Long story short, I agree with AG.

The old UMS site had a page on this subject. I like their "Lost City of the Sun" theory:

I watched the episodes out of order, so I had thought that was his second-to-last episode.
ME TOO!!! THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!!! And there are sooo many things you could do to bring his story to an end. You could kill him, find a plot twist, make him good, etc. and no matter what it is, I feel like it would still be good.

Isn't the production number for Two to Tangle after Book of Khartoum as well, though? That's the problem with this series. There's the production order, airing order, and canon order
. But with those two episodes it's like they were thinking about making one of them his last and couldn't decide. Either he lost all his power in his gauntlet in BoK and got it working again (which brings up a lot of magic questions and how exactly that happened), or somehow he got his gauntlet back from Aladdin and company after ToT and that's if they didn't have Genie get rid of it or destroy it when they got back (which I would place my money on because I don't think they'd want something like that hanging around in the palace to get back into his hands knowing he's gotten out of quite a few jams already with it), so a question is raised either way. Why couldn't he just have a normal ending?

Jas: I thought I trapped him in that crystal.
Iago and Abu:

Knowing him he'd probably find some crazy magic artifact that gave him his power back XD. I always wished that they would have made him his own movie. He was such a mysterious villain--there's certainly more to him than meets the eye.
That's what she said.
Ok, that was bad. Seriously, though, I totally agree with you, and I'd love to see any unwritten episodes and things concerning his character. I know I've always thought he was "two-part episode" material. Him and Mirage, but not necessarily together.

They would do that too. They go in with their Rambo gear and see Moze and Xerxes in the crystal and then start shooting like crazy, only to realize that they just let him out.
Then they go screaming for their lives.

Exactly. That's what got me to believe that it was meant to be the last of Mozenrath. I was very sad when I saw that episode.

Weeeeelllllll...
Even though Two to Tangle is listed as the last Mozenrath episode, I always just figured that they were shown out of order, since I figured that he lost his powers for good in Book of Khartoom (sorry for the misspelling.) I just figured that "Good Ol' Xerxes" stole back the gauntlet and gave it to his master. Any episode where he merely loses the gauntlet, to me, implied that he got it back again.
Crystal of Ix? I always figured that Iago and Abu accidentally let him out when they went to Dagger Rock after Moze had already been defeated. (An untold adventure, maybe?) And to me, anti-magic chains and things of that sort are just a temporary fix. So, my vote is for Book of Khartoom. Though AG brought up a good point regarding that episode.

Book of Khartoum because his gauntlet was rendered useless in that one and he kind of needs that, but if I remember right "Two to Tangle" is the last episode with him. So how did he get the gauntlet working again?
...then again, maybe something he did to get the power back is the reason why he's dying a little faster and came up with that plan in Two To Tangle to get a new body
. It drains him either way, but I can't imagine something he literally gave his hand for is easy to just restore back to working power again without a price. Maybe after Khartoum exploded he got his power back, but I was never really sure what khartoum did to his gauntlet in the first place. He took his power, but did he take it and use it himself? Was it lost after he took it? Was it still there, but the gauntlet wouldn't release the power anymore?
The Lost City of the Sun almost got my vote because of the Sprites taking the gauntlet and hiding it in the desert when he has no food or water, but between the mamluks and Xerxes being out there to help dig, it might have been found a lot faster than if he would have looked himself due to help.

Post subject: Mozenrath's End-of-Episode Fates
It seems that at the end of a lot of Mozenrath episodes, he is trapped with no apparent way out, but there is still a "next episode" with him. It makes me wonder how he escaped some of his fates like the crystal of Ix, stranded without his glove, magic trapping bolas, etc.
Makes me wonder how he escapes. I guess the last episode with him ends in a flying cage without his gauntlet, which also makes me wonder what happens to him after that.
Which of his end-of-episode fates do you think would be the most impossible for him to escape from? How do you think he does it?
