That does sound like a neat idea, though. I doubt if I can write, but maybe I could...draw...something. Laughing

Anyone up to writing a series of Jasmine one-shots with these titles? "Who's Dead in the Palace" could be about a royal costume party where Jasmine finds a burnt body and has to figure out who the victim and murderer are without alerting anyone (in other words, no taking off the costumes to see who's missing).

"Arranged Marriage" could a story of a princess from a neighbouring kingdom who has to marry someone she doesn't love, but Jasmine turns everything alright by showing everyone the meaning of true love and girl power. ...no wait, that's Mulan 2. Laughing

EDIT: Reminds me of the time when this guy made up a Wikipedia article about my favourite video game, Grim Fandango, being made into a movie by Tim Burton. It got spread all over adventure gaming communities and rumour sites. Man, were people pissed off when it turned out to be fake. Laughing Even today, when someone newcomer to the forums mentions the idea of a GF movie, people bring up this fiasco.

What, off-topic, me?

This is all starting to sound like an elaborate hoax; they've left out anything that would let us check whether or not it's real, like what channel it's on. I just scoured disney.co.jp and found no mention anywhere, and it's not in Disney Channel Asia's lineup (which would be the most logical place to air it). And what kind of series starts at the beginning of January, anyway? Razz Everything on Google that mentions it can be traced back to the wikipedia article. (I did find out that the folks over at UltimateDisney.com apparantly agree with me.

Right, now I know where I saw something about it before.
Still, a Princess TV show could work. But please bring Aladdin and Genie back! Peacock got a bit boring halfway, no gags, no action or romance.

Yeah, I did some searching last night and found nothing, but I thought that was maybe because I couldn't read Japanese Laughing

But it sounded like a neat idea, though.

But, yeah... it would be all over youtube, and even if Disney somehow got them all down (they haven't been that lucky with anything else) someone would have gotten a screenshot. It's like someone's just trying start a letter-writing campaign to get a nonexistant show released in the US. Laughing

That said, I'm kind of glad in a way if it's fake, because some of those titles scare me. ("Arranged Marriage"? "Animal Abuse"?)

Edit: Just noticed: Look at the history of the page. The whole thing was created in May of this year (including the second season titles and dates which are all after that). What kind of show announces this stuff in advance; they don't know for sure they'll be on the air! Fake...

It is really random that it's never been in the states, especially when it has all the English VAs. Hmmmm, but if this show exists, it has to be online somewhere... right? Confused

EDIT: I just went to Disney Channel Asia's website and there's absolutely no mention of this show. It's just a myth? Laughing

Sounds cute but the following line makes me frown

"The show may be broadcast in the United States, but the producers in the U.S. must reach a deal with the show's creators before this happens."
And the creator is Andy Mooney Chairman of Disney Consumer Products.

But this is a Disney show in English so what's the thing with show's creators? Disney has the rights already. And the fact that Andy Mooney is listed at creator.

It sounds fishy to me. Confused Question

(The URL is being strange, but just paste in all of that and you'll be brought to the page)

There's this show in Japan featuring, what looks to be, more princess short stories and Jasmine has a few. My favorite title out of all hers is "Who's Dead in the Palace" Laughing

I've never heard of this until just now. Anyone else know anything else about it?
