Just wanted to show you guys what the girl, who was signed up to play Jasmine (but dropped out) looks like, and see what y'all thought, Personally, I think she's gorgeous. And let's face it, matching up to an animated character is virtually impossible!

There's going to be a Bollywood version of Aladdin, apparantly; I'm having trouble finding anything much about it.
dazzeling diamond - Did they actually say she was playing Jasmine, or just that she was playing the princess? I'm trying to figure out whether or not it's based on Disney's Aladdin or the original story...

Wellll...initially I thought it was Disney's merged with the original tale or somethinglike that, then I came across this article:

and somewhere in it it says, about that actress who dropped out
"Ayesha was signed to play princess Jasmine, the love interest of Aladdin..."
So they did says she was supposed to play Jasmine, then again, I don't know how accurate this site is. |

If they're calling their princess Jasmine, then either they're consciously borrowing from Disney's version or are very confused.
