|
|
Someone once mentioned in a past thread that if Jafar had been brought back to life in his Genie form instead of his pre-second wish form in HATAN that he would've been powerful enough to defeat Hercules & the Olympian Gods? Lol, call me a bit of a ditz, but I had no idea that the Genie's in the Aladdin series (Jafar, Genie, & Eden) were capable of defeating Gods? |

That sounds like the most pointless fight ever
Although, I think both sides have weaknesses, so it would be a epic battle to say the least |

Chaos would come in and kill everybody. I mean, he can has more power in his pinky than a palace full of genies. _________________

Hah, and if I remember my mythology, the gods were created from chaos.
I think I might have said something to the effect that it would have made more sense for Jafar to have come back as a genie, since that's what he was when he died. It would have made it a lot easier for him to fight Hercules, but I don't know about any of the gods. But, then again, Hades did offer to make Jafar the god of the dead once he took over Olympus, so who knows? _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! I don't see a genie defeating a god anytime soon. A god can do what he wants with his power, when he wants. Aladdinverse genies are more limited. Jafar probably would have been bound to a lamp and unable to do much of anything.
But wait! What if someone wished for a genie to take on a god?
This might make things a little more difficult. Jafar specifically wished to be an 'all-powerful genie,' and if there's one thing that most gods in mythology are not, it's all-powerful.
Yet there is one leeeeeeetle problem: a genie cannot kill. A god can. The god would probably eventually wise up and destroy the genie's lamp.
But what if the genie were free?
Genie lost a good chunk of his power when he was freed. It's hard to say how "all-powerful" Jafar would still be if he were set free. Perhaps genies-on-the-warpath could find a way to imprison the gods eventually, but I'm not sure most genies would be capable of that type of thing. I don't think they're nearly as powerful (especially if freed) as some people make them out to be. _________________
