There should have been a musical episode Laughing

There was! It was called "The Return of Jafar". Laughing

Haha speaking of bad episodes...

Naw I like this one, but we all must admit... It was sub par as far as animation goes... I'm thinking about Aladdin's windmill arms and the scene in Jasmine's room where the flower changes every 2 seconds and Aladdin's sudden costume change and the non-proportionate character drawings.

But i LOVE LOVE LOVE the song, "Forget About Love." When I found out there was piano music for it out, I BEAMED. I had a phase where I watched the video on youtube several times every day.

I like RoJ less and less as the years go on. The last few times I've watched it, I've either made fun of it the entire time (with like minded Aladdin geeks) or fallen asleep. Laughing I don't dislike it, but I can't seem to get all the way through it anymore. I've tried not watching for a while, but that hasn't fixed it yet. Confused

The music still rocks, however. I could listen to "Forget About Love" on repeat forever and be perfectly content.

P.S. How did you guys to get to such a huge number of posts? I'm awed by your numbers. When I registered here, the forum didn't seem alive. Cool

Like others said, the board's been around since 2004, so plenty of time to rack up a lot of posts. A lot of us were in other Aladdin groups before then, so it's hard to think of a topic to talk about that hasn't been done fifty times before. So we get a lot of people who check every day but can't think of anything new to post, and when someone does finally start a new topic it kind of explodes and all kinds of people who haven't posted in ages start coming out of the woodwork. So, yeah. Laughing

I can't get all the way through any movie these days unless I'm multi-tasking, but that might be because I've forgotten how to sit still.

Anyway, "I'm Lookin Out For Me" is the song I sing to myself when I've had enough of people. (We all have those days.) And I just love "You're Only Second Rate."

I'm back in college again, and actually living the life of a college student. (The responsible life, thank you) and I've noticed a lot of people I go to school with love Disney. In fact, in one of the departments where I spend a lot of my time plus do some volunteer work, the girl who was managing the desk at the time was listening to "Prince Ali" on her laptop. This makes me proud to wear my Disney Princess shirts and anxious to spend my Disney bucks that I have saved up. :DDD

I get kind of worried when people start talking about Disney cause as soon as someone finds out I like Aladdin, you get the "OMG DID YOU KNOW THAT IN THAT ONE SCENE HE SAYS 'TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES'?" question. That escalades into a discussion of all the "bad things" in Disney movies in which I usually just pull my hair out Laughing

But I've never caught crap for wearing a Mickey or Aladdin shirt in college, maybe because I spend most of my time in the art building.

I don't know when is the last time I heard the whole "take off your clothes" discussion, but I vaguely remember yelling at someone for it.

And art students are awesome. I'm a health student myself, but I get around.

I've caught some flack for wearing Disney shirts, but that's only from immature co-workers. People around the college never seemed to care.

I have to admit, I've gotten in some wars with people over Aladdin stuff. Laughing "Take off your clothes," Jasmine/Aladdin being a stupid ship because Aladdin doesn't have a money (seriously), Genie being "teh comicz only" and not having an actual character...

Maybe I just take this stuff too seriously. I've yelled at people over the first thing on my list. Laughing

That's because people in college are too busy trying to get the hell out than to worry about what you're wearing. Seriously.

That's one of the many reasons college is infinitely better than high school-- a lot of the petty drama goes away and people stop pretending that they actually care. Laughing

Oh, but it would have been fun! She totally deserved it. Laughing

All you'd have to do is explain her and they'd back you up 100%. Laughing

So where can I listen to "Take off your clothes" now without buying/downloading the original DVD? YouTube? I'm feeling lazy to hunt for it. Rolling Eyes

I'm almost 100% sure if you type in something like 'aladdin take off your clothes' or 'disney subliminal messages' or something close to those on youtube, you'll find it Laughing

There's no way someone's not going to let that disappear, which I don't particularly mind because that was what was there for years, but Disney bleeping it out on the DVD only really gives those people who do think he's saying it more reassurance because now it looks like they're hiding it Mad

The page about it at snopes.com has audio clips, IIRC.
