Aladdin is easier than Jasmine - but yeah, it's hard to write him and make him interesting - mainly because lying was really his only internal conflict, and he kinda solved that after awhile. XD
Jasmine... her character is... inconsistent. I guess that's a good way to put it. One moment, she's the contrary princess, strong, brave, intelligent - then the next, she's the damsel in distress. It's complicated. _________________

If I were a writer, I'd honestly run the risk of making Jasmine (and even Aladdin to an extent) sound too much like me . They have a really current dialect, which might be why it's harder to write for them. Aladdin tosses out more characteristic tendencies in his dialouge than Jasmine does (although she does have some), but the way they talk is a lot more standard than Iago's sarcasm and or even Sultan's formalness. |

Heh, I was just thinking that myself. I guess there's a reason Jasmine gets turned into a Mary Sue so often in fanfics. _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! After all... you do bear the name of a flower." -- Arbutus |
