So, Toon Disney's Aladdin site is still around for some reason, and it has a game on it called Aladdin's Awesome Adventure. I'm kind of curious about it, since there aren't a lot of games based on the series, but unfortunately I suck at the game and can't get past the first level. Has anyone here gotten farther and would like to share what happens next? (I think I was once told Mozenrath was in it later?)

And of course if you have any tips for getting past the first level, that would be awesome as well. Laughing

Yes, Mozenrath appears at the end. It's not very impressive, though.

Also, it spells our favorite Greek villain's name as "Mekanikles." Does this mean with have an official spelling? :B

Edit: Spelling fix. I don't know where my brain went. XP

Actually, the game spells it "Mekanikles" in the intro, unless it's different elsewhere (which wouldn't surprise me Laughing )

Double post, but I got bored, so....

Here's what happens. The boldest text is what happens when you reach the end goal.

First of all, Mekanikles, Abis Mal, and Mozenrath all have the same laugh.

Anyway, Al runs through the Marketplace, where random rubies float about. Abu helps him grab one that's out of reach.

At the end...

Mekanikles says:

Well done, Aladdin!
But you should know me better than to trust ME. If you want to save Jasmine, you'll have to go to the cave and deliver eight MAGIC RUBIES to Abis Mal.

Into the Cave of Wonders, I presume (doesn't really specify), with Carpet helping Aladdin across a major chasm.

At the end...

Abis Mal Says:

Nice job, Aladdin!
But you just missed Jasmine! Mozenrath has taken her to the palace. He will grant her freedom in return for ten GOLDEN SCARABS.

And we're off to the palace to save Jasmine. The guards work for Mozenrath, apparently, until Genie knocks them over like bowling pins.

Mozenrath says:

I am truly impressed, Aladdin!
Not only did you bring me all ten golden scarabs, but you did it all to save Jasmine... not that you had to- she's not really my type.
Villainous as I am, I'm a man of my word. Take her and fly away on that carpet of yours like you always do.

Then Aladdin and Jasmine fly away on Carpet.

It really is pain to control Aladdin's jump. It took me forever to get across that chasm in the Abis Mal section. Laughing

Yeah I can't get past the first level either, Calluna. Jasmine's a big girl. She can handle herself. Rolling Eyes

I think I've seen it spelled differently somewhere else, but I don't remember where.

Everyone in that game is acting very strangely. Laughing

Oh gosh, I remember this from years ago. It took me forever to get past it because of the shitty jumping controls Laughing

I hated that game, but I forced myself to play through it a year or two ago. I kind of liked the final picture with Mozenrath and Jasmine. Does anyone have a screenshot of it?

Sorry about the random floating scroll, I didn't feel like playing again for a better cap. Laughing

Awesome! Thanks, Salukfan. Is Jasmine that short compared to Mozenrath in the series, or did this pic just get it wrong? She looks so tiny by his side.

Mozenrath isn't that much taller than Aladdin, so he wouldn't be that much taller than Jasmine. Here's a series screencap with Mozenrath and Aladdin. Mozenrath IS taller than Aladdin but not hugely.

Couldn't find one of Mozenrath standing next to Jasmine, but considering that Aladdin and Jasmine are very nearly the same height, Mozenrath would not be towering over Jasmine either. She's way too small there.

Aladdin is 5'7", and Jasmine is... 5'2"? Maybe? I forget where I heard that. But they're not really consistent about Mozenrath's height; here's one where he's towering over Aladdin:

Plus Jasmine looks almost the same height as Aladdin in the picture right before it.

Damn they're short. Then again, at 6'1", I view most people as short
