Like after the AWNW scene, that Jafar is about to escape from the guards when the sultan wants him arrested, Al looks like he realizes it was Jafar who tricked him. But when did he actually realize it was Jafar who was that old prisoner?

Hmm, that's a good question. I think that Aladdin had noticed the vial of that smoke stuff that Jafar used to escape, but I don't think that he recognized him right then and there ( otherwise I think he would have been more concerned about going after Jafar ). I think he did know that Jafar was the old man when he realized that he had stolen the lamp.

I don't think it was until sometime after Iago stole the lamp from him, because I think he would have been more careful with the lamp if he knew that Jafar knew who he (Aladdin) was and that he had it.
