Similar to the "Guys from Jasmine's past?" thread, do you think Aladdin's dated many girls during his past before he met Jasmine?

I personally think that he did. He mentioned to Jasmine in the episode "Elemental, My Dear Jasmine" that he's dated tons of girls before her, and I believe he was being truly genuine & sincere when he had said that line. Even if he wasn't or if that episode had never ever existed at all I still believe that Aladdin's dated...err rather slept with MANY girls before he met Jasmine. There are signs of this (at least in my personal & humble opinion) from the "One Jump Ahead" & "Never Had A Friend Like Me" scenes in the first movie that he's slept with alot of girls in his past, but most likely never had a real relationship with them.

Almost makes me wonder that if Aladdin had never met Jasmine, would Sadira have finally gotten a shot at getting some from Aladdin Laughing

This thread reminds me of a post we had here years ago when some ex-poster tried to argue that when Aladdin and Jasmine first saw each other, they had the look of "purely virginal eyes" or something like that, and got upset when anyone said anything differently. It was hilarious Laughing

But anyways, do I think there were other girls besides Jasmine? Yeah, absolutely. I like to use how Abu acted towards Jasmine's presence once they were in the hovel as a hint that Aladdin might have been through this once before. I think Aladdin might be exaggerating the number just a tad, though. You'd think a guy who has dated that many girls would be a little more notorious around the block. (I like to think sometimes when he says "tons" of girls that he's talking about ones he "dated" as a kid or called a "girlfriend," so he's counting all those to make it sound like more Laughing

). The extent of them, however, is always the part I can't make up my mind on.

Aladdin is a schmoozer anyways, so it makes it a little harder to distinguish between random flirting and indications of letting his limbido get the best of him, but I don't think any relationships he had prior to Jasmine were particularly meaningful or based upon anything that wasn't a physical attraction. But at the same time, I don't think they were all meaningless flings either. I personally don't think he's that type of guy, but there's a lot you can bring in to the picture that can swing that either way. He's either secure enough with his morals to not do that, or insecure enough with himself to do just that.

This reminds me of another hilarious post. I think actually I was the one to start a thread asking this question, and AG continued to write a hilarious diary about one of his previous "girlfriends."

I think Aladdin has definitely courted girls before Jasmine but I don't think he's had meaningless flings. He seems like a real romantic, just judging by his reaction to seeing Jasmine from the fruit stand. It was like he melted Laughing

And when he was in the dungeon, he was beating himself up about sounding stupid to Jasmine and said she deserved someone better than him. I hate to say this but all of that reminds me of those annoying lovey dovey facebook updates that some people do but I'd like to think Aladdin is cooler than that Laughing

It was probably Eq though... He was pretty good at creating unnecessary controversy. The first thing he posted when he came here was something like... if girls want a guy like Aladdin, they have to be hot like jasmine.

I am convinced there have been girls in Al's past, however, it is rather puzzling how he was a bit nervous when Jasmine was kind flirting I guess is the word on the balcony. Right before she pulled his turban and cape over his face. I would have thought he knew how to flirt and all that. Yet with Jasmine Genie had to give him a hand while disgsuised as a bee. Laughing
