Oh, good grief, had to take down pictures of-Agrabah is a FICTIONAL kingdom with fictional Arabs, they're in a timeline with NO terrorists anyway, as if all Arabs were even terrorists anyway. 
Jas, I'll scan the Jasmine dancing soon if you want, but I'm sure clipart is lying around somewhere.

I don't care much for Belle, but I hate how they make her eyes green and Aurora's purple.

AML apparantly got hatemail; Evi blocked it before it got sent out to everyone. And the other list... well, I'm not going to open that can of worms. And that was why the IMAX and DVD got pushed back a year, and by then they'd decided IMAX was unprofitable... |

Seriously? Wow. I didn't hear anything about Aladdin and 9/11 connections at all. I thought America would be smarter than that, but then again this is the same country who beat up the Arabs who were here just because they were  . Let me stop before I rant  |

Well, no one told me I had to, but people had made stupid snide remarks at me, and apparently shortly after 9/11, the Aladdin Mailing List had gotten hate mail (well, not apparently...Calluna's earlier post proves that my memory DID serve me right). I just didn't want to deal with it...that's why I said I FELT obliged to do something, because it was a choice, but I didn't make it until it seemed I had reason to. (Although, if I remember correctly, I think I kept some of the pictures up, but put them against the back behind the coat hook instead of prominently displayed on the inside of the door.)
What happened on 9/11 was terrible, but the UNFOUNDED paranoia of people is just ridiculous, esp. if the cause is irrelevant to the matter at hand.
And...wow, I had no idea that that was the reason the DVD was pushed back... |
